In this Blue Blood episode both Will Estes and Vanessa Ray are targets in a smear campaign and they trace it to a corrupt parole officer they arrested in a previous episode. James LeGros from the previous story is a real evil one and certainly capable of that and more.

Robert Clohessy runs afoul of Tom Selleck in trying to protect an old line detective Hamilton Clancy. He's got early onset Alzheimer's and a lot of people including Clohessy are in his words "trying to carry him across the finish line".

Donnie Wahlberg and Marissa Ramirez get the case of a woman slain in her apartment and also find her daughter hiding in a closet. This case puts them through hoops as they find she was not the best neighbor.

And Steven Schirippa finds he has a half brother who is a wiseguy but wants to snitch on his boss. Erick Betancourt is the half brother and Bridget Moynahan finds him too good to be true.

For a change the Will Estes story is the strongest in the episode which is a good one.

Warning: Spoilers
All the stories in this episode were very good. Really felt bad for Margo Chan at the end, because of ... Her controlling , overbearing , etc., mother, and Margo( which was well played by the actress ) just had enough.

Warning: Spoilers
I watched it last night with my family and pretty much enjoyed it from beginning to end despite the harsh language used on the show. There was little violence on the show and at the end everyone was safe. Can't wait for next week's episode before college basketball takes over the rest of the month before mid April.

Take your pick is the concept of this long-running hit series in its approach to storytelling. The four stories presented have nothing to do with each other, but each provides instant involvement in mysteries, murders/whodunit, and topical issues. The talented and reliable cast are just the ones to deal with all this, and we can enjoy the resolution of each. Problems solved!

I didn't find them all that interesting, however, especially the "murder in the building" (pre Steve Martin/Martin Short) which was poorly scripted with such cliches as every neighbor had a motive. And the wise-guys mafioso story was pure stereotyping.

It's a testament to the screen presence of Selleck and his team that can make it seem watchable, if only for a few moments.
