Amelie thinks that her brother is stressed because of his start up firm. The bank doesn't want to take the risk to grant Carla credit for the start of her restaurant in the monumental building. She declines Gregor's investment offer out of proud. Christian's expert report about the building has a bad message that strikes Carla like lightning. Yvonne makes Gregor clear that they seek a partner with the heart and mind set on the car industry to take over the firm in a respectful way. Frank could be that man but he states that he is not ready for such a big job. Frank later starts to doubt this when he sees the emptiness of his life at the moment. The personnel shortage in the dentist practice annoys dentist Cornelius. He tries to persuade Laurenz to assist him and Margret. Hilli discovers Damascus roses in Merle's garden store. She persistently tries to find a method to integrate rose flavor into bonbons. Cornelius spoils her work by handing her over salt instead of sugar. Laurenz uses this salted stuff to practice his production skills. The delicious taste of Laurenz' bonbons surprise Hilli and Laurenz. Merle gets a call because Erika's bee hives have been found. She identifies the hives as such and waits with Gunter until the thief shows up. It is cold and scary outside in the dark. The putative perpetrator shows up after sunrise. Merle and Gunter are too stiff and out of shape to fetch the guy. They are baffled when this young man unexpectedly appears in the garden store; he has something to tell them.
