A great and gripping series.

I'm a boxing fan that admires Carlos Monzon in the ring, this series sheds a huge beaming light on the life of the man. Being from the uk it was great that I got to see this series and learn more than I knew about Carlos Monzon. They do well With the series flicking back and forth from real time to past moments to real footage and highlight clips of his fights. The two actors who play Carlos Monzon did a great job in capturing his whole character. In all this true story is at times fun but mostly gripping in a way will have you watching back to back episodes

Really Well Done
sandblast-9147820 January 2020
I thoroughly enjoyed this series, despite the horrible things Carlos Monzon did. I am a boxing fan and knew a bit about Monzon and this incident, but this series gave me a better understanding of what happened as well as about his early life and career as a boxer. I thought the acting was really well done, especially by the actor who played both the young and older Monzon. The whole series was done very well. My only complaint is with the subtitles: either they flashed onto the screen then disappeared too quickly, or they didn't appear at all for some of the dialogue. I wish they had done a better job with the subtitles for those of us who don't speak Spanish.

Good thrilling story with regular performance

It's an intricate story, with a really maintained suspense along the entire episodes. As an overall it's nice and keeps you wanting to know what happens next, but has poor dialogues and odd moments from time to time.

With just two aired episodes, I can say this is going to be big. I love the cast and how the story is presented. Its a must see!

FASCINATING, GREAT AND EMOTIONALLY STRONG!

Fascinating this series, could not stop watching it.

I don't like boxing at all and I didn't know Monzon either, but it's a series about a crime. Very exciting, strong and well done.

The actors also seemed great to me and the story is very realistic, full of details.

YOU HAVE TO WATCH T IF YOU LIKE CRIME SERIES AND JUDICIAL SYSTEMS, DO NOT MISS IT.!!

Impressive!

Great casting and acting. True story about femicide (and a rags to riches boxing career) conveyed intelligently, with great feeling for pacing; I often find jumps in time distracting but here it really adds to the story, and all of it is interesting enough. The last episode really got to me, again kudos for the brilliant pacing. The only point of criticism for me might be that the actual end came a bit sudden (which is hard to explain without spoilers), but I'm not sure it matters, all in all this is just so incredibly well done, am really impressed.

Portrait of a beast
alfonso-desas11 February 2024
Monzon, as depicted in the series, is a feral, unhinged beast. Only in Argentina such an animal could be worshipped as a demigod. No matter how flagrantly he abused everyone around him, argentineans drool over his 14 world title defenses as if their collective destiny as a nation depended on it. Maradona with boxing gloves. The series is amazing. Nearly flawless (there are some continuity/fidelity to reality issues here and there), but as a whole, the audiovisual creation is astounding. Addictive, fast paced, no holds barred, the crime scenes are brutal, and you feel not only for the victim but for the actress herself. The casting is amazing, although I would bet the actor playing adult Monzon was directed to make sure that the character elicits no sympathy at all. And, having lived in Argentina for 8 years, I can testify to the faithfulness with which the writers and director have painted the miseries of their own country. God protect them.

diospadreamen1 February 2021
Gender propaganda focused on destroying the image of the undefeated World Champion boxing Carlos Monzón.
