Interesting concept ... kinda fun

Warning: Spoilers
Didn't know what to expect when we walked into this. The actors playing a heightened version of themselves it's kind of funny. Lots of little bits about their real lives. I.e. Jenny Garth her ex-husband's name Carlisle. LOL and in one scene I didn't know what to expect when we walked into this. The actors playing a heightened version of themselves it's kind of funny. Lots of little bits about their real lives. I.e. Jenny Garth her ex-husband is named Carlisle. LOL and in one scene Ian Ziering Is seeing signing a Sharknado poster. LOL so far so good. I kind a liked it.

Pleasantly confused.

Mockumentary(-ish) about the actors who played the characters on BH90210 in an semi altered reality. First I was confused, then laughing, then sad about Luke Perry.

Tori's comedy is shining thru.

Not what I expected at all... it's better

Warning: Spoilers
I was a fan of the original show and when I heard about the reboot I wasn't as interested - I'm older. Also not a Spelling Sr production. But I was curious about the reboot and wow- nothing at all what I expected. The acting not bad and the story was intriguing . Loved how they paid tribute to Luke Perry - a class act. Unexpected scene with Carteris' Zuckerman and silly scene when Tori Spelling demanded her dress back. I'll be tuning in next episode and want to see how the show progresses.

Great show!
jucgomes12 August 2019
It was great, funny and incredible to see them again, portraiting their real lives. Since the release note it was said that they were going to play themselves mixing with characters. For those one who watched it in the '90's it was great and nostalgic to see the gang together again.

The Reunion
bobcobb3018 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
They got my excitement and the excitement of any older TV fans or 90's kids with this one, but it just did not deliver. The jokes were lame and the acting was horrid.

Maybe they can turn things around, but this show doesn't have an identity. It certainly wasn't a clever take on the TV business.

NOT a reboot of the show as promoted
paulmackie19748 August 2019
Why would they launch this as a mocumentary on the people who played the characters in the original series? The fans wanted a reboot not a documentary. What a wasted opportunity here.

REALLY?! They promoted SHANNEN! Can we sue the production?
imdb-252888 August 2019
So I was supposed to be at Target but I saw this was coming on and any time Shannen Doherty is starring, I'm watching. She is so badass. The best thing in Charmed. The episodes suck when she's missing. Who cares about Phoebe!? Cole should have sucking face with HER! Did you see them in the Indian Ghost Town episode? I rest my case. But wait! There's more: Shannen was so awesome in Scare Tactics. She scared me when the show didn't. She was the host and she was so bad ass with her b-wordy attitude. Loved it! I tuned in every weekend with my buddy just to see her. Shannen is the face of the 90s. (Alissa who!?)

Anyway, FFWD to this show I'm supposed to review but it sucked so bad, the story was cringe-worthy, they might as well have brought in flying sharks or something. That bad. The tried to be trendy by having one character turn gay (really!?) and 2 others in inter-racial marriages. I don't mind that but considering it's not true in real life and... couldn't you find ANYONE ELSE besides that annoying wife of Nick Lachaise? But let's go back to what matters... (PS: this "reboot" ain't gonna help the mental health of those extreme fans who confuse part & actor!)

And Shannen? WTF?? She wasn't even in! Just a few secs on a TV screen while the rest of the cast pulled faces, basically rolled their eyes. The baby tiger was adorable but I want my money back. Did I say i was supposed to be at Target? Seriously, do they hate Shannen that much that they relinquished her to a 5 secs appearance and not with the cast?! Contact me, I'll tell you were you can mail me my $1000 Target gift card. That's how much my time is worth. One star out of 10 cos you wasted my time.
