- When FOX greenlights a 90210 reboot, on the condition that seven of the original "Beverly Hills, 90210" cast members get on board, Tori and Jennie confront each of their former castmates and are met with more resistance than they had anticipated. Meanwhile, the gang deals with the repercussions of their actions in Las Vegas, Shannen gets a call from a friend and former "Beverly Hills, 90210" costar Christine Elise pops back into their lives.—fox press release
- In meeting with the executives at FOX, Tori and Jennie are surprised that they are more than just enthusiastic about the idea of a reboot, which Tori in particular is putting all her eggs in in getting her life back on track. The big "however" is that the execs assume Tori and Jennie have the consent of all the other cast, which is far from the truth, especially as Tori is largely to blame for their Las Vegas legal problems. In actually approaching them, Tori and Jennie find a largely reluctant bunch in dealing with other issues in their lives: Gabby has to decide what to do about the kiss in Vegas; Brian, who does want to get back into acting, wants to show he can do it on his own without Shay or his 90210 cast mates' sway; beyond the possible assault charge, Jason may want to avoid Jennie due to what happened in Vegas, especially as Camille has told him she's pregnant; and Ian, always searching for ways to increase his brand, also has to deal with catching Stacey in the actual act of cheating for a stronger defense if he decides to divorce her. Jennie, too may have second thoughts in wanting to provide Kyler with a good role model as Kyler, against Jennie's wishes, wants to get into acting, being a teen actor which Jennie believes is the root cause of all her adult problems. Tori may have to find the right buttons to push in convincing the others, and even if she does so, there is the issue of who if any of them will have creative control. On top of this group, there is also the ever omnipresent issue of Shannen.—Huggo
- Tori's big mouth gets everyone convicted to community service, hence most grumpy, yet she and Tori need to sign everyone up for the 'reboot' which the Fox studio approved in principle, assuming that to be formality, while every cast member has to be convinced somehow. Jason wants a director's career, so he's offered he can direct, Ian a boost for his brand products. Brian must be convinced he's hired on his acting merits, Gaby that her character can publicly explore her sexuality like she dreads in real life. Co-producer Jennie may even withdraw herself, anxious as her teen daughter Kyler aspires her own acting career, but being on the same set would allow parental guidance without estranging her properly. Shannen remains in South America on her charity crusade. New assistant Zach lurks around.—KGF Vissers
