The main story-line revolves around righteous individuals who step up to the plate to carry on the legacy of Mrs. Ollie Harvey, the founder of a charity in Stuart Florida called Building Bridges to Youth. - "Each One Teach One" highlight the righteous African Americans who are stepping up to the plate and making a difference in the lives of countless young black children by volunteering and mentoring at a struggling charity called Building Bridges to Youth. In the poverty stricken neighborhood of East Stuart Florida, a small group of American Americans pull together with selfless action to breath hope into the local youth, as well as the entire community.
Not long ago, the town endured a great loss. The founder of Building Bridges to Youth, Mrs. Ollie Harvey, passed away from a heart attack. On top of that, her son Philip Harvey Jr, who also helped the charity, was killed by a drunk driver. Mr. Philip Harvey Senior now runs things. Mr. Harvey has endured the back to back tragedies with amazing strength, and reveals how God has pulled him through the life altering devastation.
The charity has somewhat been placed on a back burner for a while, but all that is changing. Selfless heroes are in the process of reviving Building Bridges to Youth to help children again, keep Mrs. Ollie's vision alive.
Through interviewing the volunteers, author Dr. Christopher Metzler, Thomas W. Dortcht of 100 Black Men of Atlanta and others, compelling current problems such as racism, drug ridden neighborhoods and poverty are discussed. Moreover, the solutions to these problems that face the youth of today are revealed in a compelling and highly entertaining manner. Most importantly, the film lets it be known the youth of America, black and white, must look to God for assistance.
