No such thing as a free lunch

There's a reason why some films are never released in theaters and go straight to video or streaming sights: they're unwatchable.

Thankfully, the fast-forward scan feature on the Netflix app shows you the majority of what you're watching, so I only had to suffer for 28 minutes before hitting scan.

Yes, I'm being kind giving this garbage 4-stars, but the effects were pretty good and the movie has that German dude from "Inglorious Basterds." That alone is worth at least 3 stars.

Troy: nothing more than an after school special
17 May 2004
Where should I start?

Was it the cheesy Toys-R-Us plastic and rubber armor?

Was it the dime store digital effects?

Was it the four members of the film crew wearing shorts and t-shirts visible during the scene where the Trojan Horse is rolled into the city?

Was it that Brad Pitt was horribly miscast and anyone else in the film-women included- could have played the part better?

Or was it the giant balls of string?

Yes. The giant balls of string really made Troy one of the worst films of all time.

Pythonland (1999 TV Movie)

A fascinating tour of the numerous filming locations used by the Python troupe.
31 March 2002
Pythonland is a fascinating modern day tour of the numerous filming locations-apartments, businesses-used by the Python troupe around BBC Centre some 30 years previous.

In it, Palin makes seemingly impromptu house calls on current residents and shopkeepers with interesting, informative and entertaining results.

This documentary is a must for any fan of the world famous TV show.
