Dr. Who
Reviews
$5 a Day (2008)
Bad movie
Bought this movie for $1. I think I paid too much for it.
Scooby-Doo (2002)
Great flick
This a good film with great humor. It kept true to the cartoon as I remember it as a kid. Myself and the family enjoyed ourselves through out the entire movie.
Oh, and it has the best fart scene since Blazing Saddles. This will become a classic.
Pearl Harbor (2001)
War Movie vs. Chick Flick
I thought this was a good movie, but think it was too much of a romance movie. It is well done both by the actors and the film makers. But, this was Pearl Harbor.
I know there are many war movies with a romance line in them, especially those done after WWII. But, I didn't get the whole concept of mixing them together. I think it would have been better if it was two movies instead of one. The first half as a romance movie and the second as a war movie.
Sugar & Spice (2001)
It was okay
The movie was okay and better than worse. But if my daughter hadn't been an extra and on camera, I might not have gone to see it. The acting isn't bad, but the language gets a little rough for PG-13. When will the ratings match what the movie really contains.
Backdraft (1991)
Not bad for Hollywood.
It was nice to see a movie about Fire Fighters on the big screen. The plot wasn't too bad, the action kept me interested and the actors did good work. However, as Hollywood is known to do, they twist things to make them appear better. There were many fire fighting scenes where nobody would have survived without the correct protective gear. But, here we have some John Wayne Fire Fighters who can live through anything. I hope nobody dies trying what they did in the movie.
Buffalo Girls (1995)
Good entertainment
A well done TV movie. It was a pleasure to watch with a good script. I enjoyed it so much I rented it on video so I could watch it again. It has good character interaction and the viewer is lead to feel part of the movie.
