La lengua asesina (1996)
Could not believe what I was watching.
Flipping through the stations the other night and came upon this movie. started watching it and was hooked. This is a melding of a sci-fi horror flick and all of the "Evil Dead" movies. The writing was a little below par but that was more than made up by the effects and the acting. Robert Englund was great. When it was over I still couldn't believe I had watched the whole thing. If you got the time and you are an "evil Dead" fan you will love this one.
Mission: Impossible II (2000)
the same but different
After seeing this movie I walked away from the theater feeling a little let down. It had everything in it I enjoy. Explosives, technology, great stunts and a killer chase scene. John Woo was in charge. I was let down by the "love story" aspect of the film. They should have either spent more or less time with it. Personally, I think less would have been better. I understand that Tom Cruise wants to have every IMF movie follow a different pattern. In this he was highly successful. Go see it. Twice. It is better the second time around. You will be surprised at what you missed the first time you saw it. Go, go go...
