Actually... I can´t explain what this movie is all about... I can try, but the only way you´ll know is by watching it. "Fucking Åmål" is simply the best Swedish film I´ve ever seen. And to be honest it´s fighting really high with my all time favourites. The word "fucking" might scare you, but it´s not an action drama... and it doesn´t have such an advanced story. It´s a film that´ll warm your heart up to 500 degrees. Because all the characters, enviroments and situations feel really close and real. Infact ... I think I´m in love in Agnes. :)

Lukas Moodysson´s directing is superb. Not just cinematographic, but also in directing the actors. Being 18 years old, I find the youthful dialog, also written by Lukas Moodysson, real, breathtaking and funny. But I´m really sure that people of all ages can enjoy this masterpiece, in on way or another.

This is a love story. And even though it´s not near the money and technical advantage as the Hollywood films, such as "Titanic", it still is the greatest romantic movie I´ve ever seen. And I really mean that.

I must say that this is probably the best Swedish film I´ve ever seen after Ingmar Bergman´s "Persona". Superb directing, terriffic acting, and Flaskkvarteten´s raw and unpolished music gives the film an almost unforgettable touch. Excellent work, Daniel Alfredsson!

This is the story about the killing of one of the greatest politicians in Swedish history, Olof Palme. Like the murder of JFK, many questions has popped up if involvment stretches as high as up to the government. Mikael Persbrandt shows, as usual, a superb way of playing his role. This time he plays a police on the track of the Palme-killer. Kjell Sundvall directs with perfect timing and speed, and gives the film a perfect touch. These two components bring this film up to my top10 Swedish films-list. Simply excellent!

There are two lines I really don't like in some american movies: "The president of united states" & "My fellow americans". In some movies "United states of america" is enough. "The Postman" is that kind of movie. It seems like Mr. Costner, after the less successful movie "Waterworld", wants to call out to the americans in an even more self-centred way. Beside the lousy directing and the really thin story, this is a patriotic mess that doesn´t say that the most important thing is to take care of each other. No..., we must take care of the United States of America.

It´s long... It´s slow.... It´s strong... and it´s the greatest film= ever done. This is the movie about three men and their closests before, during and after the Vietnam war. But DONT think this is a movie about the power of bullets... This is the movie about the strength and weekness in ourselves. This is the movie where reality IS real. This is the one....

David Fincher once said: "I don't know how much movies should entertain. To me I'm always interested in movies that scar. The thing I love about JAWS is the fact that I've never gone swimming in the ocean again." Well, SE7EN gave me a scar... and wow.. What a scar. 'cause it's so dark and so scary that I keept thinking about it for days, not to mention while walking out of the cinema. So if you haven't seen this one yet, all I can say is: I N V U.
