I have to admit that I was a bit bored in the first 90 minutes, there is just too much character development. The movie gets better then slows down a little but then Goes fast again-like a roller coaster that doesn't move that fast. The story is very very good though as well as the acting. 6/10

I really liked this movie despite one scene that was pretty bad (the one when Samantha and Nick are flirting in the hotel). The story is so cool and can't wait to read the book! Bravo for the super station!

Lots of TV movies don't work because of bad acting and bad plots. But this one works, the actors are excellent (Shelly Long, Helen Shaver etc.) The story works also it isn't just something that was made in a few minutes but it was thought out and is quite good.

I saw this movie a few years ago on New Years Eve. This was maybe the third or fourth Stephen King movie I had seen, but the ones I saw weren't scary. But this movie scared the daylight out of me. I was never so scared by a movie since The Exorcist!!!!!

P3 was ok, but I wish that the basic plot was thought out a little more. Didn't Henry Kane die at the end of Poltergeist II? I can think up a plot that is better than that. Maybe Kane had a daughter whose soul was roaming around and bring her into the movie instead. I also think that Laura Flynn Boyle should have played Dana because P2 never told us where she was. (The orignal actress who played Dana died before P2)

Some of the acting is a little stiff but most of it is done well. It is interesting how almost all the effects were done on the spot, not with a computer and the effects look kind of home-made but it is nice to see that in a movie. This movie isn't as good as the original but still watch it if you are a fan of the first film.

I have never read the book but my sister has and she said that compared to the book, this movie could be rated G. She says that the movie is nothing compared to the book.

I'm not sure how good this movie is if you compared to the book but I didn't think it was that bad. The story is OK and the mansion fits the movie well, but a lot of the acting is stiff and there is so much music! The actors hardly even talk until about the last 45 minutes. 7/10

When I rented this movie, I expected a flop but this movie is actully very good. The acting is just as good as any other movie and the special effects are very neat. Well I know people are going to disagree but this was one of my favorite films in 1998.

Road To Avonlea ended a while ago and a reunion would be agreat idea. When I found this was actully happening I was excited and for the most part I was not disappointed, though it is predictable this is a wonderful family and Christmas movie.

This has got to be the ultimate dream for any C.S. Lewis fan, it is hard to find but the search is worth it! 10 out of to

This is a great movie to get you in the Christmas spirt. Highly recomended.

This movie has great story and beautiful special effects! a few parts were confusing but the movie was so good that it didn't matter! 9 out of 10

I haven't read the book but ever since the movie came out in theaters i wanted to see it and soon as it was on video i got it from Blockbuster. I wasn't left unhappy i thought the movie was Cool! The best parts are when the girls find the heads in the oven and at the end when the guy is still alive and says to the people at the bar "wana see somthing"

This is a nice hart-warming Christmas story with lots of holiday fun for everyone!

Poltergeist is my favorite movie ever and you have to see it!!!!

This is a good enough T.V. movie. But it might be a little to unrealistic for adults. Kids on the other hand are likely to like it.

This weird story is a little too weird for my liking. But some may enjoy it.
