3 Ninjas (1992)
Hilarious
Reading the reviews... where majority wrote this movie sucked... I thought I must have the wrong movie. 3 ninjas aside from the horribly edited stunt moves this movie was great. I must give two thumbs up to Max Slade who did a great job as Colt. It is a pity Michael Treanor decided to give up his position as Rocky because Slade and Treanor worked well together. Of the trilogy (I refuse to consider High Noon at Mega Mountain part of the 3 Ninjas because that is truly a horrible piece of work) the last one was the best with by far some of the greatest ninjas moves I've seen ten year olds do but this one was great as well. It's a movie aimed for kids but can be a great relaxer movie for teens and adults. It's got the hilarious one liners and the cutesy kids stuff that for some reason never fails to make you smile. Of course the biggest part of this is the ninja moves and while the idea that three kids could take on an entire army of highly trained ninjas is mind boggling these things have always been possible in Hollywood, there are tons of movies out there where the good guys seem invincible. Parents, if you want to keep your kids entertained for a few hours this is one movie that would definitely work. I know my brothers enjoyed watching all three movies... over and over and over....
Chill Factor (1999)
Awesome!!!
This movie was great. It was hilariously funny. I loved Cuba Gooding Jr. and Skeet Ulrich. Some parts were a little too unbelieveable.... i.e. people seeming to live through twenty lives... but that's all right. It was still great. A MUST see movie!!!
Rush Hour (1998)
Awesome
This movie was great. I really loved it. Chris Tucker is such a hilarious actor. I was laughing the entire time. He played his character great (the dancing, the way he spoke, and the idle sarcasm and humor).
As for Jackie Chan, in this movie it actually looked like he was talking. In a lot of movies it looks like someone is dubbing in for him and that he is actually not even speaking English. However, there was nothing that spectacular about his acting.
The stereo-types in the movie, were written and acted in such away that nothing seemed offensive but instead were funny. All in all I think the best part of the film was the comedy and Chris Tucker. Two Thumbs Up!
The X Files (1998)
It Sucked
For all those X-Files fans, I'm sorry but this movie was stupid and dumb. It wasn't X-Files. It was more like a mixture of Aliens and Independence Day. I mean SPACE SHIPS?????? Come on! That's not your usual X-Files stuff is it? If this movie had been named as maybe Aliens 5 then I might have actually liked it. But it was not a good X-Files movie.
Dead Man on Campus (1998)
It was terrible
I actually thought that the movie looked good from the ads on tv but I was WRONG, IT WAS TERRIBLE. I'm sorry for anyone who liked it but it was definitely overrated. Except for Mark Paul Gosselaar and Lochlyn Monroe the rest of the cast did not do a good job of acting. Actually, Tom Everett Scott's role should have been casted to someone else because he stunk up the whole movie. The story line itself was a stupid subject but with the right actors it might have turned out right, like There's Something About Mary. However, because of bad casting, the movie was nothing like There's Something About Mary. It wasn't very funny or interesting. Even the beginning credits and opening scene almost made me get up and leave. I thought it was the dumbest and most boring way to open up a movie. It was a cute idea, but it wasn't done right.
