Zaat (1971)
Just a cinematic tool for walking catfish
Just like Free Willy, The Bear, or any Pauly Shore movie, this flick was just a marketing ploy to get me to buy walking catfish t-shirts, catfish video games, and Popeil's Pocket Fisherman. This cute and cuddly creature, which walks like my aunt after her hip replacement surgery, will only be served blackened with red beans and rice in my home.
P.S...That Nazi-Fish guy was great! He really knew how to pick up women.
The Wizard of Oz (1939)
The DVD version shows what a spectacular film this is.
Easily the most imaginative movie ever made, and rates only behind Citizen Kane as my favorite movie of all time. The DVD version of this is incredible; its crispness and vivid color still dazzles after 60 years. As an adult movie watcher, this film still enthralls me every minute.
Track of the Moon Beast (1976)
California Lady........................
I can't get that song 'California Lady' out of my head. And that goofy looking lead singer. Plus the corn and the chicken and the lady wearing Doc Severnsen's outfits. Ouch, this movie hurt big time! One of cinema's most moving experiences.......bowel moving experiences that is.
The Elephant Man (1980)
A truly remarkable film.
I do not give out a rating of 10 very often to films (or a 1 for that matter), but this movie is one of the few I have given the highest of rankings. One of the few movies I have been emotionally touched by.
