Puteri (1987)
The best romantic comedy malaysia ever produced!
Well, the lead casts are brilliant. Fauziah Ahmad Daud who won Most Promising Actress in Asia Pasific Film Festival, are very talented. Her acting reminds me of Emma Thompson. She always knows very well what she's doing. Anyway her hairsyle needs more creative touch.
Bukit Kepong (1981)
This movie is about the struggle to defend the nation survival
I must admit that this is the masterpiece of Jins Shamsuddin, a veteran malaysian director. It tells a story of Malays in a small village in the rural area struggle to combat the communists in order to defend their lives, families and the most thing, that is their pride.
They did very well in fighting the enemy but unfortunately they forgot to learn from history, Malays are always defeated by people from themselves, that's their real enemy.
Kaki Bakar (1995)
Very sincere in throwing the real Malay dilemmas.
I don't know how put in words because I'm afraid I'll mislead you. Kaki Bakar has all the answers, so watch it.
