Excelent portrait of the most famous american bull fighter
24 January 2023
The movie was over my expectations, very well narrated, not the typical biographical sequence but more an artistic approach of the man behind this name. It is directed and acted for his son Sebastian Eslava, I loved the colombian landscapes, photography, music, historical moments. Is a good representation of cinema as an art.

Eventhough if you are in favor or against bullfight, it is worthy to see the portrait of a time and a very special man who overtook all obstacles and got to the top of the famous bullfighters of his generation, being a humble boy and walking all the way to the top in Spain.

A refreshing story of family love and the bravery to pursue a dream
23 March 2007
It touched my heart - We in Colombia have not done many good movies but this time we did, a beautiful story where violence, sex, drugs and vulgarity are absolutely absent, replaced by good taste, tenderness, and humanity, and with a wonderful music always in the back, with songs of our talented Colombian musicians such as Andres Cepeda. It is also a show of very good actors and the story is really nice, I wish people in US can be lucky to watch this movie. I watched it twice and enjoyed a lot, is an inspiring story that remember us we can do whatever we want to. One of my friends told me the movie made her think in her life and helped her to make important changes..to be happier. MPRs, march 2007

A movie to enhance your love for the whole mankind and an indisputable show of English class
9 February 2004
So beautiful and human! It reminded me the film "Les unes et les autres", where several life stories happened, and at the end, all of them related to each other. A nice sign against racism and vow to the most powerful, and a tribute to dreams, human beings and ...of course...love!

The best movie I remember I have seen
23 November 1998
I watched this movie for first time in 1984. In many years of going to the movies this is the one I remember more - it has an excellent management of the subject, its relation in time, its deep human content and a real gift to the art. Mercie beaucoup, Monsier Lelouch!!!!!
