Punk Floyd!
15 September 1999
This is probably the funniest thing I have ever seen. I'm sure the Beatles laughed their asses off. George is in the movie! Eric Idle should have teamed up with Lorne Micheals and the SNL cast more often. It would have had astounding results. If you like satire and parody, check this movie out and buy the Rutles albums. They are the best band around!

Clambake (1967)
10/10
You've gotta have a clam to have a clam bake...
16 June 1999
Possibly the greatest movie ever made. Forget Titanic, forget Star Wars, forget Citizen Kane, until you see Elvis' playground musical extravaganza in Clambake, you haven't witnessed the true power of the silver screen. This is cinema. Will Hutchens delivers the performance of the millennium. Why this man does not have elementary schools named after him, I'll never know. And few realise that Elvis was an accomplished chemist as well. Why is he overlooked every year at the Nobel Prize, "goop" would have changed the world. And don't give me that "he's dead" crap. Bill Bixby is as dashing as ever. He delivers such a wide range of emotions, that I keep expecting him to turn into Lou Ferrigno. Shelly Faberes delivers a performance that offers but a small taste of what we would witness on the groundbreaking TV sitcom "Coach."

O Lucky Man! (1973)
The greatest movie of all time, hands down.
10 June 1999
I am astounded every time I watch O Lucky Man. I cannot believe it is not more well known. This over three hour excursion is full of fantastic subtleties, juxtaposed with endless irony. There are also many instances of absurdity to keep the tone lighthearted, while still a bit heavy. The Yin-Yang of films, it really has everything. It puts life into perspective better than any film I've ever seen. The use of actors in sometimes more than six different roles throughout the movie is almost unheard of. Alan Price's score and periodic appearances are great, as well. Malcom McDowell turns in an Oscar worthy performance, as does just about everybody else. Every time I watch this, I wish it would just keep on going and going, it doesn't drag at any point. You'll notice something new every time, too. This flick is just perfect. I would recommend it endlessly. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!!!!!!

THX 1138 (1971)
Is it time to be an android, not a man?
10 June 1999
The great prophet Glenn Danzig summed it up best when he said "We Are 138" This is a great flick. It's so real it makes me wanna puke. The police robots might well have been real cops with masks on. The confession booths are quite chilling, as well. "I feel like I'm dying- Yes, I understand." Perfect. Robert Duvall deserves an Oscar just for being alive, and for his role as THX.

"They were all just whores, why shouldn't they be?"
17 April 1999
Slithis is perhaps the best of the three best movies of all time, in my opinion. The others being, of course; Death Drug, and Disco Godfather.

See nature release it is (typo on box) revenge!! See some guy in a really bad scaly monster suit! Hear some of the strangest dialogue ever. Look for Hy Pike (the mayor from Dolomite) in the most overblown performance I have ever seen, by anybody! Look for the coke bottle over the camera lens when it goes to Slithis' point of view. There is also a turtle race, thrown in for good measure. This movie has too many quirks and weird plot points to describe. I cried like a little girl when I first saw Slithis, only because I was really ripped when my friend pointed to the box in the video store. We laughed for a good ten minutes. Slithis is one of the best b-movies I've ever seen. A definite classic.

"Who's gonna watch the tits and ass shake, while the Disco Godfather fights crime?"
27 December 1998
Disco Godfather is the best film ever (next to Death Drug and Slithis, of course. It is the story of Tucker Williams (the immortal Rudy Ray Moore), an ex-cop, who now runs the Blueberry Hill Disco joint. He is the one, and only "Disco Godfather"!! His entrance in the film is classic.

Tucker's nephew "Bucky", a talented basketball player, hooks up with the wrong crowd. One night at the disco, Bucky smokes too much angel dust, and gets really "whacked out." The Disco Godfather vows to "Really take it to the suckas that's producin' this sheeyit!" This movie has the anti PCP legacy that Death Drug tried so hard to mimic. Disco Godfather also shows Rudy Ray at his best. Listen as he says "put your weight on it" and "You stupid sonofa beeyitch!!" about 181 million times. He also gives the best delivery of the word "Damn" I have ever witnessed. Another great element of Disco Godfather is the PCP expert. This "doctor" looks like a jazz keyboardist, and he runs his own little PCP ward at the hospital. His dialouge is so choice, if you can make it out. If you can sit through this one, you will not be disappointed! Long live Dolomite!

Death Drug (1978)
"This is the Wack baby, you'll need a parachute to get down!"
21 December 1998
Death Drug is without a doubt, the best film of all time. Not only does it directly rip-off two classics- Disco Godfather (the anti PCP theme) and Slithis (the coke bottle vision during the hallucination), it shows Phillip Micheal Thomas at his all time best(worst). The music video will have you rollin! Watch for PMT's head superimposed over a pregnant woman's belly. Pure genius in B-movie glory!! The supplements on the video release are even better. Phillip Micheal intros and outros the film, and his ramblings make you wonder if he has indeed succumbed to the "sherm" himself. A must see!
