This is a wonderful little movie. Well worth a rental at your local video store. I'd never heard of it until it made it's way to cable. Some have criticized it for not living up to the book, but then again few movies can truly compare to their literary counterpart. I for one haven't read the book (although I may give it a try), and so everything was original for me. A clever plot that left me guessing until the end. See this beautiful, quiet, and intriguing movie. You'll be glad you did.

I went into this movie expecting cool special effects and a lame plot. Instead, I was treated to really cool special effects, a hot babe in shiny black leather (who can resist?), decent acting, and a surprisingly good plot. What is the matrix? Well, I won't tell you because it will give away the fun, but it's definitely worth your time and money to find out. See this movie on a big screen. You'll hate yourself if you wait for video.

The humor was enough to carry the movie... barely. It's really just another plot-lacking slasher flick. The only difference is this one doesn't take itself too seriously. If you really want to rent a horror movie, go rent something like Carrie, the Exorcist, Rosemary's Baby, or even the original Hellraiser. If you just want a mindless slasher movie so you can laugh with your buddies, then sure, rent Scream 2. There are a lot of inside jokes, so it helps if you've seen the original.

You MUST see this movie on a big screen. If you wait for video, you will be missing out on some of the best imagery to grace the theatre this year. See this movie!
