It's just my opinion and, of course, I might be wrong but I sincerely believe The Mexican is poorly done, boring, and a total waste of time. I was expecting a good movie and instead watched a mediocre film. I don't understand how good actors like Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt don't demand better scripts. Apparently they only care about the money they will receive. This film is worthless.

I don't think this movie is very well known because I have never heard of Miracle at Midnight until my recent visit to a video store. I'm glad I decided to buy it because it was worth it. It's an excellent movie, with a great script and a fantastic cast. I wish to recommend it to everyone interested in war movies. Miracle at Midnight is beautiful and its message will stay with you forever. It's a gem!

I cannot deny the fact that the actors are great but, even though the majority of the comments are in favor of this movie, The Usual Suspects was a big disappointment for me. For me, this movie was boring but after reading the marvelous comments there is nothing else I can say. Rent the movie and after that, come to this site and express your honest opinion.

Few times in my life I have seen such a poor movie. I was so naive that seeing the theater totally full and having to wait for a long time because all was sold out, I had the strange feeling that "this would be a great movie." I was wrong. The movie is a failure and my opinion is not based in my dislike for video games. My daughter who is fifteen years old and her best friends dislike this movie as much as I do. My good advice: don't waste your time and money. Watch anything else. Even the most mediocre movie made for television may excel this piece of garbage.

I have to be honest: my high vote (8) is due to my admiration for Tom Berenger, one of my favorite actors. I have read other viewers comments, both negative and positive, and have to confess my ignorance about the St. Patrick Batallion. That's why I decided to read the book Shamrock and Sword: The Saint Patrick Batallion by Robert Miller, which is very interesting. I don't have anything against this group of Irish soldiers but my sincere admiration goes to the seventeen totally Irish companies who participated in the US-Mexican war (on the US side) and were highly recognized for their courage and dignity. I can understand that the Saint Patrick Batallion is respected and admired in Mexico; however, this group of soldiers can only be seen as traitors in the U.S. As I said in the beginning, I admire Tom Berenger and he is an excellent actor. Don't accept the facts expressed in the movie because most probably this is total fiction. Look for the truth.

The Odessa File has always been in my list of favorite movies. It has an excellent script and a marvelous performance of Jon Voight, one of my favorite actors of all times. This movie deserves a very high rating because it's not an acceptable movie, it's a true gem. Don't wait any longer and buy this movie. I have seen it several times. Don't rent The Odessa File, because once you see it, you will want to show it to all your friends.

I have enjoyed this movie and wish to recommend it to everyone. Sometimes the movies made for television are by far much better than movies shown in theaters. If Tomorrow Comes is a good example.

I have seen this documentary several times and still touches my heart. For some of my American friends it's not easy to understand the full dimension of Castro's dictatorship and the constant violation of human rights in Cuba. While Hitler and Stalin have been considered cruel dictators, Castro is still called the "president" of Cuba even though he refuses to have elections and those who dare to express their opinion against the Communist regime have only three options: jail, death or exile. If someone can tell me how I can buy this documentary, I will appreciate it. My respect to late Nestor Almendros and to Jorge Ulla for this testimony of the suffering of my people.

This is one of my favorite movies and Robert Duvall does an excellent job in his portrayal of Stalin, the most cruel dictator of the 20th century. Even though many people ignore the true facts, Stalin killed far more people than Hitler (50 million Stalin, 25 million Hitler). As a victim of the Communist dictatorship of Fidel Castro, I deeply identify with this realistic movie. If you have not seen Stalin, you can buy it at Amazon.com at a very reasonable price. This is a movie that deserves to be seen more than one time. It's a true masterpiece.

Honestly, this movie deserves a higher rating. I saw it several years ago in television and have been trying to buy it with no success. This movie is a fantastic thriller and Brian Dennehy is an excellent actor. Hope to have the opportunity of seeing this marvelous film again. If someone can tell me where I can get Father's Revenge, I'll appreciate it.

This movie is a masterpiece. I saw it for the first time in the year 1981 (Beaumont Cinema of the University of Miami) and since then it became my favorite movie of all times. I have recommended this film to many of my friends but, unfortunately, some of them are not prepared to enjoy this gem.

If you love art and poetry in a movie, then you must see Les Enfants du paradis. It's not like any other movie, it must be seen with your heart. And it will conquer your heart forever.

I'm extremely impressed with this beautiful mini-series. It has everything and I simply love it. If I were asked to describe this piece of art, I would just say "charming". You will love it too. Don't wait any longer. Sara

This is a 1983 movie but I just saw it last night. It's a movie based in a real life event: the story of a foreign journalist in Laos who is declared "non grata person" by the Communist regime. This is a beautiful story of love and courage. The main character is Michael Landon, one of my favorite actors. The movie is kind of slow but I enjoyed it.

Sometimes movies made for TV, like this one, are by far much better than movies made for theaters. A Father's Revenge is a fantastic thriller and Brian Dennehy is a marvelous actor. For years I have been trying to buy this movie with no success. If you ever have the opportunity to see this marvelous film, don't miss it!

I saw this movie for the first time four years ago and have seen it three more times since then. In reading the negative comments from other viewers, I agree with some of them but still love this movie. I cannot understand the low rating received by The Saint. This is one of the best action films. Ignore the negative reviews and see it. Judge by yourself.

I have read all the reviews, most of them praising Moulin Rouge at the highest possible level. I have to be honest: the movie is beautiful and I'm glad I saw it, but the majority of the scenes are so brief and so fast that it's difficult to appreciate the beauty of the film. There is a great chemistry between Kidman and McGregor and their performance is truly unique. The movie is very surrealistic and I prefer more traditional movies. My recommendation: see Moulin Rouge because it will be a new experience and it's worth it.

After wasting my money buying this movie, I have to confess this is one of the worst films I have ever seen. Both, Thelma and Louise are two silly women. Thelma is a total failure that instead of leaving her husband and creating a new productive life, she just gets into trouble every two seconds due to the fact that she has no brains. I still cannot understand the high rating of this movie. It's a waste of time and money.

I was very impressed with this beautiful movie: the best actors, the best script, the best of everything. This movie is simply delightful. I cannot understand why Gideon didn't get released in the theaters, and why is not on sale. Not even amazon.com has this movie. It's mistery to me why a mediocre movie is distributed everywhere while this jewel stays in the dark. In my honest opinion, there should be more movies like Gideon. It's a heart-warming film that touches your heart. It deserves an Oscar and, most of all, it deserves a place in every home because it's a movie for the whole family. It's a true classic. Don't miss it!

I sincerely thought this movie was going to be great but it was a true disappointment. I think Rush Hour is by far a much better movie. The plot is very similar but it was very well developed in Rush Hour, and a lot funnier, while in Shanghai Noon there was something missing. Nevertheless, Jackie Chan is a great actor and he will always be one of my favorite.

I sincerely cannot understand the high rating of this movie. Spanish is my native language and I have felt profoundly deceived by this movie. It's just okay but not a great movie. The majority of my friends have liked All about my mother but I disagree. One of the reviewers has even said that All about my mother is better than Life is Beautiful. With all respect, he is comparing a piece of carbon (All about my mother) with a real diamond (Life is Beautiful).In my honest opinion, the movies by Spanish director Jose Luis Garci are by far much better than Almodovar's. Follow my advice and see "The Grandfather", a true piece of art in the world of films. You won't regret it.

This is simply an extraordinary movie. After watching One Against the Wind, I wish to recommend it to everyone with a preference for true classics. This film is a jewel. Judy Davis performance as Countess Mary Lindell is unique. It's a real life story and it is timeless. It will touch your heart forever.

Again, last night, I saw Uncle Buck. This might not be the best of the movies but it has a special charm that touches my heart every time I watch it. I feel grateful because I had the privilege of having an uncle like Uncle Buck. Most of all would feel lucky to have someone so special in our family. John Candy is one of my favorite actors. I regret his early death and all the wonderful movies he couldn't make. Watch Uncle Buck today, you won't regret it!

After reading some of the negative comments about Topaz, I have wondered if I saw the same movie. For reasons unknown to me, this precious film has been underrated. This is a very good Cold War thriller and critics should revaluate it. I recommend Topaz to Hitchcock's fans. They won't be deceived. I have seen it several times and still is one of my favorites.

Everything is so real in this movie that you forget your viewer role and become part of the little town and the lives of the generous widow and the young man in the correction center. This movie teaches us a lesson about being a true Christian and help others. It leaves us a message of hope and understanding. Ellen Burstyn is a great actress and she deserves an Oscar for her fantastic performance. Walking Across Egypt is a movie to be seen with your heart.
