Bedazzled (2000)
Almost fun
Elizabeth Hurley is hopelessly lost in her role, trying to spice the devilish flavour with ridiculously idiotic walk - I had no idea that Dark One hopped around like (not even a Playboy) bunny. Brendan Fraser, although somewhat intense with early geekish Elliot Richards, enjoys being there more as the film grows. Watchable from a rather aesthetic point of view - dramatic changes of scenery make it fast and sometimes even fun.
Como agua para chocolate (1992)
True treat for dreamers
A warm, passionate story full of dream-like fantasy - just like water for chocolate. If you don't like chocolate don't bother viewing - not because the movie talks about it, au contraire. But you do need extra sensitive touch and inner sunshine to truly enjoy this movie, and that is known only to chocolate lovers. My personal favorite about this movie is that it is the closest thing to G.G.Marquez that I've even seen on silver screen.
Hudson Hawk (1991)
Pure fun
This movie is all about fun, both for people in the movie and the people watching it. There is nothing real or possible in it, although it would be very romantic if two friendly cat-burglars saved the world from candy-named terrorists.
Go and see it, have fun!
