A dramatic and exciting fighting movie.
10 May 1999
I have yet to see the anime version of this story but I have to say that I found Fist of the North Star to be a grand and hugely enjoyable martial arts movie. The sets are pretty convincing and the acting is way above what you would expect from a film of this nature. Gary Daniels is Britain's best hope when it comes to actor/martial artists and he doesn't let us down in what is his best movie yet (not that the likes Fire Power or White Tiger give it much competition). Gary is impressive and the fight scenes are well executed, particularly when Gary used those nasty looking kicks of his. What is even better about this film is that it has a story line and the film manages to fit a plot along with the action. I wish there were more movies like this one. In a perfect world, Gary Daniels would be the next big martial arts star. Watch this movie.

TC 2000 (1993)

Lots of cool fights and almost no plot. Just how I like them!

TC 2000 is not a film for the average science fiction fan. This is all about fighting, and lots of it. It seems that almost every single person in this film is a martial artist (which would explain the terrible acting) and no more than ten minutes go by without a fight between at least two people. The fighting is pretty good, Billy Blanks is great and Bolo Yeung kicks some serious behind. A great low budget fighting movie.
