Aweful

It's a show that thinks it wants to be funny but hasn't a clue how to be so. I gave it a 3 because I really wanted to like this show and I almost finished 3 episodes before giving up. It really just sucks. Great cast gave it potential, but the writing is something out of an 8th grade production.

Just pointless

Just one stupid cliche after another thrown together and called a show. Don't waste your time.

If you can find nothing else on TV to watch like me tonight, go ahead and let play. There's a chuckle here and there.

Nearly unwatchable...
30 August 2009
I say that because I found myself watching just because I wanted to see HOW MUCH WORSE it could possibly get. I love SciFi flicks, but this movie had to be put together by a 2nd grader. The script, the acting, the NOTSOspecial effects, were simply ridicules. I sat there with my 9 and 12 year old kids and they were even laughing about how poor a movie it was. I gave it a "1" only because "0" is not an option. SyFi Channel should be absolutely ashamed of this production and fire the idiot who wasted the money to produce it. I thought SyFi had hit rock bottom with that piece of garbage "War of the Worlds 2: The Next Wave", but boy was I wrong. Its getting to the point that if you hear "a SyFi original movie", just avoid it! I don't understand why their movies are SO bad, while so many of their series are high quality.

Low budget
11 December 2006
Not unwatchable, but definitely low budget. The movie had potential, but most of the performances were flat. The only person who remotely kept my interest was Eddie Griffin, playing jingle. It put my kids to sleep in the first hour. I usually like John Goodman, but his acting was almost forced. AS was most of the person's acting in this show. It reminded me of someone simply reading a teleprompter. Chris Kattan was OK, but even he seemed to be holding back from being funny. Harvey Fierstein did play a good Heatmiser and he definitely had the better looking groupees vs those with his brother, Coldmiser! I finished watching it, but won't go out of my way to see it again next year. Believe me, its not a modern classic.
