This is one of my all time favorite films for the emotional impact it made on me about relationships, dreams and our favorite past time, baseball. A simple and brilliant film about a guy who hears voices out in his corn field and decides to follow their demand. What follows is one of the best stories ever written for a sport.

I am not a clubhead nor do I go out dancing with my friends but this film speaks the truth of almost any lifestyle of our lifestyle. the paranoia, the honesty and the miscommunication with adults. I have not see such an honest movie in a long time especially one I could relate to.

If you like fast-moving films with down-right good humor then see this. Even if you don't go clubbing!!!!

a black comedy about not being yourself....what could be more said about our own society and the dictation of our culture. everyone wishes, at some random moment, that they could be someone else. it's a given. well, this films pokes fun at making you think that maybe that is a way of being happy. but if you watch the film close enough, no one is really happy being john malchovich, not even himself. i personally loved every aspect of this film from dull look of craig and loti's home life to the intense cat and mouse chase through the subconscience of a human being. completely new! the acting took me for spins (which i really like) and i finally i couldn't help but think about terry gilliam for some reason. i saw a lot of strageness that i expect in a terry gilliam film, but i think spike jonze has his own vision which is really refreshing. if you want a recommendation to see this make sure you can laugh at odd little occurrences and that you enjoy offbeat, hyperactivity because this film delivers just that.

I just graduated from college and this film was on HBO for about two straight months. Guess what? I watched it everytime I could. It seemed weird because I was still looking for work and like any young man I dreamed about having fun with an older woman. Ben had it good. It was a shame he had to get cynical about it, but hey every great film has a great conflict. I recommend this film for anyone with a keen sense of humor. Actually I recommend this film for every young man. just do yourself a favor, see it. Especially if you haven't seen it yet.

The Source was the first documentary I have ever seen on the big screen beside those huge IMax films. The Source was very enjoyable film. I have always read Kerouac and Burroughs with much enthusiasm and this film helped me to fall in love with their work all over again and some more. The Beats were an aquired taste, but if you are searching for yourself (and I believe most people are) these guys can help you start. They don't show you the way but they give you a good start.

Hey, this was just a damn good movie. It is a little offbeat like "The Graduate" was, but it is actually a feel good movie. That is if you can read through all the tragedy. If you like movies and you like Kevin Spacey, you will be very, very happy with this film.

I just caught "LOLA" at its last showing last night. I wish i could have seen it earlier so I would be able to see it again. This film didn't stop. It kept moving and moving. And i liked it. When the camera swooshes down from the sky and bursts into Lola's room, I got the same feeling of those Hitchcock films that began by peering into the window of someone's life. And the film does a great job of this.

Since the film only takes us through 20 minutes of Lola's life the director lets us know that we really shouldn't get attached to her because we are only peering into a split second of her life. Now granted, this twenty minutes is a turning point in her life and that's why it is the story. Lola is action packed and mesmerizing at times. Not once in this whole film did I become distracted by my surroundings or by my own thoughts. I sat back and enjoyed a fun, fun movie. see this film. It is almost the antichrist to any boring drama you've seen before.
