A true sequel to the Exorcist!
25 June 2020
The Exorcist delt with damnation. The 9th Configuration deals with redemption. The astronaut from Chris McNeil's dinner party in Georgetown where Regan (possessed by Capt Howdy/Pazuzu) tells him he is going to die up there. This is his story of redemption, his story of escaping Pazuzu's influence and finding God again.

They Don't Make Classic TV Westerns Like This Anymore!
19 April 2013
Watching reruns on MeTv now, this show aired 20 years before I was born, yet now it is one of my favorite shows! The plot is this, a widowed rancher Lucas McCain and his son Mark run the Northfork Ranch, as Lucas tries to raise and teach Mark the best he can. Of course each week there is a bad guy or anti-hero the McCains deal with, but there is a lesson to be learned each episode of the series.

Chuck Connors & Johnny Crawford are wonderful as father and son. You'd think that they actually were! (In Fact, Chuck treated Johnny like he did his own sons in real life!) Even in the opening of the show, when Chuck looks toward the audience, his eyes never leave the screen. To me, its a comforting look, saying 'As long as I'm here, you have nothing to fear.' It's a shame that a lot of TV shows since don't have that kind of impact on the viewers.

Stupid
30 May 2006
If I had seen this episode first, I would have stopped watching it. Angela Bettis' acting is dumb and wooden, and makes Softcore Queen Misty Munade's acting look like an Academy Award winner. I don't see how Lucky McKee is considered a 'Master of Horror'? Eli Roth could have done a better job, maybe even Uwe Boll...Skip this episode!!! For a better selection of episodes see: Incident on and off a mountain road, Homecoming, Fair Haired Child, Jenifer. This episode could have killed this show off quickly and would have hurt this awesome series. Hope to see Horror stars do some directing like Angus Scrimm, Robert Englund, or Jeffery Combs.

What If the Dead told tales?
30 May 2006
After all of the movies out there that talk about 9/11 and Iraq: Such as United 93, Fairenhight 9/11, or Jarhead, this one comes from a fresh (or rather 'un-fresh' with the zombies). What if out troops that fought, and lost their lives in Iraq came back and told how they felt about their life and death fighting in the war? Zombies are generally précised as flesh eating, mindless creatures, but here in Homecoming it's a neat and provoking twist. What if 'Johnny' came home, looking like he did when he died, but is still the same Johnny you knew and grew up with? He could have a chance to tell people how the war was for him, with no glossy pictures, or cover-up, but just how he felt. He would get a chance to see his family one more time, and tell them how he feels, or people could go up to him and say 'Thank you, for protecting us.' That is all I will say about this episode, except watch it! You won't be disappointed! 5 of 5 stars!
