Mad Jack the Pirate (1998–1999)
Very funny!
26 March 2001
Do you think pirates are strong and macho? They sure are, but not Mad Jack. He and his pal Snuck are completely the opposite. And they have bad luck in life. Nothing goes the way it should to be ok for them. And the situations! Not just the this-happens-to-the-average-pirate, but also extraordinary, "modern-day" situations. Imagine Jack at the office as he tries to get his pirate-license back doing actions like parking the ship, firing the gun, an so on. To make matters worse, the "boss" at the office is his nearest enemy...

I enjoyed all the episodes I have seen and had a very good time. This is entertaining, so get ready for tears - laughing instead of crying!

Columbo: A Trace of Murder (1997)
Season 10, Episode 11
Great!
9 January 2001
This Columbo-episode must be one of the best ever. The plot is simple: Mrs. Cathleen Calvert (played by Shera Danese, Peter Falk's real-time wife!) has a rich husband, Clifford (played by Barry Corbin), but she has also a lover, Patrick Kinsley (played by David Rasche). To get rid of her husband, Cathleen figures out a great plan: they make him responsible for a murder. All evidence leads Columbo to him. Will Clifford ever be free or was the plan perfect? Watch the movie to figure it out!

I loved the plot: it was interesting. It was fun to watch Barry Corbin as Clifford, his character was funny. Shera Danese again in a Columbo-movie, but this is good: she can act, whatever character is needed. Peter Falk as Columbo is perfect as always.

I can recommend this movie for everybody looking for a good mystery.

Columbo: Murder, a Self Portrait (1989)
Season 9, Episode 1
Good Cast, Good Plot, Good Time!
4 December 2000
I am a Columbo-fan, and this episode is really one of the best. Max Barsini (played by Patrick Bauchau (Dr. Sydney Green in the drama series "The Pretender" (1996-2000)) has a secret and his wife knows what it is. Max murders her, "pretending" it was an accident. Max also has an alibi: he was painting at Vito's. The case is clear, but then comes a police officer to solve the case: Lt. Columbo.

I was really enjoying this movie. A cast is excellent, many of my favourites (Peter Falk, Shera Danese, Patrick Bauchau to name a few) were here and did a wonderful job. Now I could see behind the scenes of painting artists...

For all Columbo-fan, this movie is a must see!
