Seven Girlfriends (1999)
Forget Blockbusters, this romantic comedy scores a winner!
Few romantic comedies around can accomplish what this film has. To entertain, to make you laugh, to make you think, to make you feel that it's all original material. The cast is well chosen, with Melora Hardin, Tim Dally, and Laura Leighton giving some stand out performances.
The plot is very good, in comparison with the average film about relationships that Hollywood churns out each year. The gags are laugh out loud funny at times, and other moments make you consider your own life's experiences.
A Superb film. go and see it now!!

The House of Mirth (2000)
A breathtaking masterpiece of modern cinema
I made my way out of the cinema, tears streaming down my face, my hand trembling as I reached to brush them away..... I am afraid that the english language has yet to come up with words that could justly discribe this film.
I will therefore just comment on my emotions. I was spellbound. mesmerised. apalled.stunned. heartbroken.
No film I have ever seen (and that is one long list ) has ever effected me in such a way. All I have to do is think of it and the tears well up in my eyes. Such beauty, and such powerfull acting.
A true masterpiece.
