This movie Reprisal needs a reprisal with a new writer and director and even cast because it is an entirely, absolutely and completely implausible film from casting a handsome bodybuilder type man with tats as a banker, to the corny clichés throughout. Don't waste your time. The actress who plays the wife acted pretty well considering she's mostly just a beauty and fashion influencer. Bruce Willis' acting was pretty poor in this film, so the director has blame as well someone should have noticed on set. However, the writer is the real problem and should go back to their day job because everything from concept to conclusion was absolutely terrible...

I know this was a mini series, perhaps there could be a spin-off or evolution into Dexter's son carrying the dark passenger and learning along the way. There's money to be made carrying the story into another series. This episode did have a better ending than the first, most rot in prison, of exit by suicide- or simply old age. Dexter wanting to die by Harrison's will was poetic. He did not want to be on the run again if not with Harrison.

This shows concept is good. I have not seen the original so perhaps it is just the American version that should be curbed. Beyond the first season, which was quite good, I've found the best way to watch the remaining seasons is to record the show. Skip the intro, all commercials, and anytime a "couple" is on the screen, especially Murphy, skip forward until the next segment. Their stories are useless, boring, and do nothing to advance the medical stories. It's usually absurd whinging and arguing over nothing. Skipping it allows you to watch the important parts and frees up your time to watch another show or talk to your spouse instead of concerning yourself with fake ones on TV. Life is too short, and a medical drama should know this. New Amsterdam now has this problem too. British shows seem to waste less of the viewers time on such folly.

It's funny to see all the whinging in the reviews about a show based on news and current events of the time 2020, as America was steeped in political deception. This episode was on point for what they wanted to address. People were becoming more "woke". The Bradley character was depicted in a way to represent how people with her background are treated in these situations. The fact that conservatives post "it is ruining the show for them" only shows how fragile they truly are. Rather than letting it 'ruin' you, perhaps you could reconsider your perspective? Consider diversity is making the world better and part of what this show is wanting to impress upon the viewers.
The dynamic of Cory acting out of revenge by allowing the exposure of Bradley's assignations was a believable point and ironically showed him to be the true "privileged white guy" expecting do get everything he wants (Bradley) not the character who was accused of being privileged...
The truly disappointing thing with this episode was the complete absence of Alex. I can only imagine Aniston had another obligation at the time. I literally lowered my rating due to this as it will slow the telling of Alex's struggles.
I do feel this series would be best watched binge-style to grasp the subtleties.

I tried watching this in the theatre when I was 25, I didn't get it. Seemed unbelievable anyone would help him, and implausible a person wanting to die would do it by drinking rather than jumping. Vegas gets tons of deaths by suicide of people who go there for a last party. I tried watching again at age 51. It's still unbelievable and it drags on so slowly. Nothing really happens. Best parts were seeing acting cameos from Julian Lennon and Lou Rawls.

Other shows The Mentalist for example, have used the buried alive concept. However upon escape the grave wasn't squared! It's amazing a show who used to pay close attention to details of cadavers could mess up something so simple. Additionally, why would Fern be wearing jewelry in jail?? These distractions keep us from enjoying the storyline. I hope continuity and directors fix these simple issues if there is a 4th season!
Less Realistic more American

Looks like season 2 brought more money and less realism. Actors are wearing nicer clothing, they are using American techniques of silly hook ups that just so happen to be someone in the morgue. Like they are in a village of 20 people. The realism of the naked cadavers - which even in their own show commentary made it feel real is missing. This now feels like a daft American vanilla yet slick show with personal drama, rather than focus on the actual cases. The effect of bare open cadavers made the show stand out from American procedurals this is not a children's show. If this show comes back I hope they stop trying to copy the Americans, season one was what we need!

This is a copycat of the British show Hustle only not as well acted, it's still fun and interesting. I have to think it was done with permission of the creators because it's too similar right down to the music. If you like Leverage check out Hustle. This series actually got better after the first season.
Show is slipping

This season is more predictable, and yet unbelievable. Little stories like a surgeon dating a janitor? Seems the show is actually saying men and women can't be friends. What's up with Erica rubbing on gay men? Just seems forced to be woke.
I will never get that half hour back.

It should be a crime to promote and a film with the words featuring the music of Van Morrison this film featured half of one Van song (Astral Weeks) and a full Lala from Derek & the Dominoes & a lot of other obscure background music. With that said I will comment on this film said to have won awards in Canada. Taking in to consideration the period of the 70's the film's plot was okay but fell off after about 30 minutes and ultimately it was about a man who loved his music but hated his boss & the system etc. A man who can't love a woman and keep a job because he thinks he should be "cool" instead. D-
