Undercover Brother (2002)
uhh, very bad movie
OK, if you have nothing else to see and it is an afternoon you want to waste, here is the movie for you to see. Or better yet see something else. I saw a free screening for this film, and walked out feeling that they could have taken something from me. If you want to se the film and be surprised at all please miss the trailer, close your eyes and shut your ears. All but a few parts of the film that are funny are in the trailer. If you have seen the trailer it is almost funny to see the film, and how there are clips frm the last 5 min of the film! This movie so obviously wants to become Austin Powers. It is like the little kid wanting to play with the big kids, well this time I hope the big kids don't give them a shot.
Roger Waters: Radio K.A.O.S. (1988)
Radio Waves in my head
First of all this was made in 1987. Don't totally let that throw you, but it does show the date of the piece. If your a fan of Roger Waters solo work then you will love this. If your into Pink Floyd a little, all you own is Dark Side, and The Wall, then this is not for you.
Basically this film is a small collection of songs from Roger Waters' album Radio KAOS. As with much of Roger's work it is a concept. This concept is about a boy who's brother gets thrown in jail, and he can send radio waves through his head, or a device that he has made. And is going to shut down the world. It is a tough concept to explain, and I probably did it wrong here. But before the film it tells it to you.
I personally love the album, so naturally I love the video, but like I said before it is not for all.
Enough (2002)
Too easy to have a funny stab because of the title
OK, I just saw this movie at a sneak for free. I am so happy that I got to see it for free because if I had spent any money on it it would have been a waste. I knew going in to it, that it wasn't going to be up for any awards at the end of the year, but I thought I might be entertained. I was in a way, but it was for all of the wrong reasons. First of all if you see this movie watch out for the TITLE CARDS, they pop up for no certain reason, and they are absolutely hilarious. 2nd of all to me the male lead Bill Campbell looks to me a ton like Alan Thicke. His acting is par at best, but his look kept on throwing me off, I thought the dad from growing pains was trying to kill his wife. Lopez does an alright job. Noah Wiley does an alright job, but some actors that I liked, and the friends of mine that saw it with me liked were either lost from the film in its entirety after the first twenty minutes, or in the case of Bill Cobbs was only in one scene. There are so many plot holes and bad choices that I can't mention them here, but one that really bugs me that I will mention is **spoiler** Lopez cuts a phone line in a house with a security alarm. Now if I remember right aren't security alarms hooked into phone lines, and if one is cut it would trigger it? I don't know. If these are the questions that I am asking myself after I leave a film, then I shouldn't have been watching it. Enough was a film that was made for the Lifetime channel, the script and directing was just as bad as things that I have seen on there. So please go and check out something else and save your cash.
