Robin Hood (1984–1986)
fantastic series
25 November 2002
Robin of Sherwood was part of my whole teen years and in a way after all these years and seeing it again on DVD now, it has not lost anything in all these years. My fascination is still there. I have never seen another Robin Hood story that had all these great color effects, the castles in the mist with red filter, the atmosphere it created. And for sure it is a series that tried to show how it could have been at that time, no beautiful styled castles, but you see the dirt and the fog in it. It has its own charm, and for me will always have. The mystical elements and also the two stories of Robin Hood that are shown here (Robin of Loxley and Robert of Huntingdon)have never been shown that way again. I love both Robins but personally I prefer Jason Connery as actor in this role.

great combination of action, scifi and family story

For me the film combines great action, a scifi story and what doesn't happen to often in this kind of films, an emotional side of the story which is reflected by two father-daughter conflicts. I am not really in scifi movies and I went for the film because of Mark Dacascos and I was really surprised and I loved the movie.

excellent film, a must see!

I have seen "le pacte des loups" several times, and I think it is an outstanding film. I have always loved costume films and I love action , romance and mysteries. This film offers all of it.

For me personally the performance of Mark Dacascos was the best. His fight scenes, and on the other hand the way he portrayed his role as the Indian shaman, Mani, with less words but perfect gestures, is just brilliant.

perfect!

An absolutely great series for those who like the perfect mix of fiction, emotion and great fights. Mark Dacascos as series lead is the perfect match as Eric Draven in the interpretation of the series.

To understand the whole series, the prime episode is definitely necessary.
