Kelsey Grammer Presents: The Sketch Show (2005)
Nice, but nowhere near the original
Just saw the first episode. The best sketches were a downright copy of the original UK series. They still got me laughing, because the original was so good, it could never become bad. But the phobia sketch was horribly mutilated and wasn't funny at all. The bad sketches were those where Kelsey came in, except for the psychiatrist sketch maybe. They just weren't up to par with the others.
If you can watch the original UK series, don't bother with this. If you can't, this is not really a bad replacement. I have seen worse remakes. For example, the US version of Red Dwarf comes to mind, amongst a lot of others :)
The Killer Within Me (2003)
Terrible
From the start, you know how this movie will end. It's so full of clichés your typical NRA member will not even like this movie. I give it 2 out of 10, only because of the acting of William Benton. I can't believe people voted 6+ for this movie. It's so biased towards a 'certain point of view' (once a thief...). People aren't born bad. Neither are they born good. They are born with a clean slate. It's society, parents and education what makes them who they are. And if they take the wrong turn, somewhere down the line, it certainly isn't going to be the American penal system that gets them back on track! Anyway, avoid this movie like the plague. I bet you have better things to do with your time than waste it on this piece of crap.
Traffic (2000)
Dull, not convincing
No drama, no action, no suspense. And a really bad ending. One could try to mix Scarface, Panic in the needle park (or even Trainspotting), Law & Order, Magnolia and Secrets & Lies and end up with a really good movie. Or one could end up with this...
And somebody mentioned the lack of background music? You should get your ears fixed.
Arty shots alone, don't make a good movie.

The Sixth Sense (1999)
Predictable
I can not see why people find this movie creepy or even remotely interesting. After 20-30 minutes it's so obvious how this movie will end. I won't ''spoil'' it for those of you who haven't seen it yet, but it's hard to understand almost nobody feels it coming from miles ahead. It's so darn _obvious_!
Well, not to brag, but I have probably seen too much movies. Like with The Blairwitch Project, which is supposed to be scary... Give me a break, please.
Watch "Una Pura Formalita" (A Pure Formality) with Roman Polanski and Gerard Depardieu and see what The 6th Sense could have been.
