Show with good potential, but was never given a chance
30 September 2000
This had potential to be a classic 90s comedy show, however, it wasn't given enough time. I watched all the episodes that were out (there was only 3 in total I believe), and thought they were all really funny. It's a shame that Bronson Pinchot hasn't had much of a career since this show, because he truly was a funny guy. As good as it was, it didn't get the reaction Perfect Strangers did, so maybe that's why the network didn't give this much of a chance.

The Greatest Disney film BAR NONE!
17 August 2000
"Have you been to Baia? No? Well, let's go!" -Joe Carioca and Donald Duck

I have had this movie since age 8, and almost 10 years later, I still enjoy watching this movie over again. Clarence Nash as Donald Duck is absolutely classic, and Joe Carioca and Panchito are too.

This movie is by far the most comedic of any Disney films released, and 55 years after it's original release, it still holds up instantly as one of the greats ever produced. This, of course, was the first Disney effort to combine live action and animation, and a better job could not be done, especially in the Baia scene with Donald, Joe and Yaya. The movie, however, is lagged with boring music scenes, but that's no problem the fast forward button couldn't fix. In short, if I could only recommend 1 Disney movie for your collection, it's this one.

Poor excuse for a film
16 August 2000
Warning: Spoilers
You know, if a cast includes Malcolm McDowell, if he's not the villain, he's not effective. This movie clearly displays what not to do in a film. It's supposed to be a sci-fi, when it clearly wants to be a mild horror film. I don't care how low the budget was, because that doesn't matter at all in terms of the way this film is.

The acting is bad, the soundtrack is poor (aside from the Nine Inch Nails track), and the plot is so unbelievably non-existent that you get the idea that the whole movie is just a cheap excuse to shoot people and blow things up. Don't get caught by the box ad, and all the "hype" over this movie. Seriously folks, all this movie represents is a way to sucker video renters out there into spending a buck on trash like this. Unless you're into mindless killing, and drivel for a script, don't even touch it. It is really difficult to explain how explicitly BAD this film is without profanity, so I'll leave it at this.
