X-Men (1992)
Okay...for a Marvel cartoon.
For the most part, the "X-Men" series was okay for kids, when compared to the other god-awful Marvel cartoons that came out in the 1990s (with the exception of Spider-Man). Still, I thought some of the voices sounded pretty cheesy and there were a lot of unnecessary changes to the continuity (e.g. Angel not being an original X-Man...I don't think so).
For the most part, "X-Men" is nowhere near the quality of the Batman and Superman cartoons, or even the "Powerpuff Girls"! I'm really not looking forward to the new "X-Men: Evolution" series, as it sounds even worse than this one!
Tour of Duty (1987)
Best series of all time.
In my personal opinion, "Tour of Duty" is one of the best TV series of all time. The characters were interesting, the storylines were gripping, and the show should be commended for trying to show a realistic portrayal about the horror of war. Definitely a must see for anyone into war shows or good dramatic shows in general.
Rock-A-Doodle (1991)
Won't appeal to anyone with pubic hair.
Even the least interesting Disney animated flicks are light years ahead of "Rock-A-Doodle". I cringed in terror during each and every single second of this crapola film.
Just when you think the movie couldn't get any worse, there's that atrocious song and dance number at the end. Why did Don Bluth insist on combining live action with animation (the only time it truly worked was in the excellent "Who Framed Roger Rabbit")? And what was the point of involving that little kid in the story to begin with?
"Rock-A-Doodle" is probably one of the worst movies in general I've ever had the misfortune of seeing. I'm sure the money wasted on this steaming pile of excrement could have better used to feed several Third World countries.
Sleepaway Camp (1983)
Oh my God...
"Sleepaway Camp" must have been directed by someone's dog, because no human being could have actually produced such a piece of trash! The story was completely stupid and the acting horrendous. Normally, one would be looking forward to the end (just to end the agony of watching such an abomination of movie), but then they had to go and have that horrible horrible ending (did they buy that prosthetic from an adult sex shop)!
Words cannot accurately describe how atrocious "Sleepaway Camp" was. This movie should be buried in a landfill.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975)
A memorable musical.
The "Rocky Horror Picture Show" may not be to everyone's tastes, but you have to admit the music really stands out. I couldn't get "Time Warp" out of my head for days. Besides, Tim Curry is always enjoyable to watch...even if he is wearing black lipstick, a corset and garter belt throughout the whole frigging movie!
The queer musical that rene_tsang mentioned isn't called "Zero Tolerance". It's called "Zero Patience". And believe me, compared to "Rocky Horror Picture Show", it BLOWS big time. Aside from queer viewers, that film is almost unwatchable for anyone else - that is, unlike you like seeing male full-frontal nudity and two anuses singing to one another. At least "Rocky Horror" didn't have any nudity.
