This is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. And I've seen it MANY times. Still makes me laugh out loud. I was surprised when it didn't make AFI's top 100 funniest movies list. I can't believe it only has a 6.4 . It should be much much higher. It is simply hilarious.

It could be that I saw this with a total count of 18 of my friends on the opening day of this movie, but I enjoyed it. I'll admit, there are many funnier movies out there, but this one has a few things going for it.

First of all, David Duchovny. I personally think he's hilarious, and he did a good job in this movie.

Second, Orlando Jones. I think he's hilarious as well, I loved The Replacements.

Third, It's about aliens coming that take over the planet. Nothing new, I agree. But the way the aliens begin to take it over is completely new, and for more intelligent than before. It follows the logical steps of evolution, and throws in some things you wouldn't expect. Overall, I say see it in the theater because I think it's better than Pearl Harbor. It's guaranteed to make you have a good time. And, it features some disco music.

Very good. I wasn't sure what to expect going into this movie. It was a different type of genre and subject matter than I usually see. As the credits began to fade in, I felt it was an excellent two hours spent, though it didn't seem like two hours, and I wanted it to keep going. Casting was beautiful, as well as the camera shots. Not one frame couldn't have been taken and made into a magnificant photograph. Will Smith play the part superbly, as well as Matt Damon and Charlize Theron. They were perfectly fitting, didn't try to over play it, just let it flow. The little kid is going to be a star. All in all, a great movie.

It's nice to see a scary movie released that doesn't involve a bunch of stupid teenagers running around and going into dark rooms trying to find help when chased by a killer. It's also nice to see Harrison Ford do some more good acting.

All in all, it's simply a cool movie. It keeps your attention, though slightly predictable, and throws in some neat little 'things to watch for' much like The Sixth Sense. The story isn't anything new, but it's told so well, and it was so thoroughly planned that you can't help but be intrigued by it.

With cool camera work and a nice, twisted presentation, this movie makes viewing fun. And scary.
