Nothing Bad About this Film
20 September 2022
Just like most A24 horror films this one starts out slow and then jumps into the action. Film starts out as a nice little story set in 1918 with a family on a farm. Then just like X it goes the rails. That being said if you liked X you are going to love Pearl. Mia Goth does a great job with the character and keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time. The film has tons of twist and turns and blood to keep you entertained. They are working on a sequel for X but they should not stop there and follow up a sequel to this one to tell more of Pearl's story leading up to all the action in X..

What did you expect?
26 July 2022
So many bad reviews on this low budget horror film. Not the greatest horror film but had enough entertainment factors that made the 90 min run time slightly enjoyable. The monster looked really good, the acting was not but it was like watching a bad version of Super 8. For the budget and production value it worked.

Michael Bay Gets this one Correct
13 April 2022
Michael Bay Gets this one Correct. The action, characters, suspense, and anything else you want to through in this one works. The plot is so out in left field it makes no sense and it's completely unbelievable. Keep in mind it's a Michael Bay film. Then it all makes sense.

Creepy But Worth the Watch
24 March 2022
My Empire of Dirt is just a creepy low budget short with some solid low budget special effects. It's just a short so give it some slack. Worth the watch.

Better than most
23 February 2022
I have seen all the Texas Chainsaw films and this one was short, gory and to the point. The most recent sequels to me feel just like remakes or reboots of the original and added nothing to the series but just to bring back Leatherface and all his craziness. Yes, this film didn't give much of a backstory to Leatherface but the post credit scene seems to imply if we get another offering we might get those answers.

Lot's of crazy action with Gerard Butler and Frank Grillo. Like always you go in thinking just another action film and it turns out to be freaking awesome.

I did not have much knowledge about this film so I was going in blind and I was shocked how this film took a huge twist. I think it paid off worked well. One of the better Netflix films.

Great Horror
12 October 2021
This film has so many elements it's hard to describe why this film worked so well. With twist after twist and most of the film being very unrealistic. But that did not change how great the film was.

Surprisingly entertaining. It's like one of those films you can't look away and each moments gets more and more awkward. Worth the watch and has a lot of funny moments.

Solid outing from Shyamalan
28 July 2021
The first hour of this film was so eerie it was hard to watch. This was a good thing. All the characters are great and well acted. The ageing of every worked really well. I didn't know if I was supposed to laugh or cry at times. Shyamalan did not disappoint. Check it out if you dear.

Some new elements to the Purge series but these films don't really get old. Just lots of shooting and bloody entertainment.

Another Saw film

Nothing new to the franchise just new characters. Has a lot of gruesome scenes and worth watching if you like the other million Saw films.

An odd movie that never really takes off with a great cast that's wasted.

Solid haunted house film
18 May 2021
Solid haunted house film with a twist. Film keeps you interested and guessing what really was going on. It does follow some of the stereotyped horror cliches.

Standard but still Watchable
4 May 2021
The standard Liam Neeson film. This has a little less action than his other films but it moves a long. Not sure why it's The Marksman. He doesn't do much shooting in the film but when he does it's very precise.

Pretty much a great rip off of John Wick. Non stop action mixed with a little comedy and very unrealistic.

What was this? Entertainment at the least
21 April 2021
It starts out like a zombie film and the narrator quickly tells you its an alien invasion. The one detail I like about this is if you are bitten you are not going to turn into anything. The story telling is simple enough that it works and the pace of the film never slows down. Just expect 80 min of what you see in the preview.

Surprisingly Awesome
14 April 2021
Had some Christmas overtones but this is not a Christmas themed TV show/ film. This one has you guessing the entire time of what is going on and what might happen next. It was also nice to see the guy from Warlock getting some work.
