I saw this movie and was utterly disappointed. Rent something else and don't waste your time. Also, be forewarned, there is a soft core porn section of the movie where you see Sara Rue and a guy having sex in a bathroom and the male star and his new male friend having sex in another bathroom. I had to fast forward. Definitely could have gone through my life without seeing THAT!

I also expected Stevie Nicks music given the main character's obsession with the artist and the fact that they were on their way to a Night of 1000 Stevies. Perhaps Stevie felt not the need to lend her music to this piece of garbage. The movie, simply put, was not nearly described accurately enough. Had it been, it would have stayed on Blockbuster's shelf and out of my DVD player!

I loved this movie, because it shows what friendship is all about. The ups, the downs, it's not always easy. The movie takes you through the full range of emotions. Definitely better than the book. It's a shame that, in real life, friends don't always last like they do in the movie.

I thought the film had the same kind of touching sentiments as the Hallmark movies. I wish I had a copy of it on tape. It was funny and heart-warming. If you get a chance to see it, it is definitely worth your time. I already emailed CBS and told them they should start putting their movies on video, starting with this one.

Romance, action, great cinematography, acting, I could go on. This movie has it all. Mel Gibson has most definitely outdone himself. I saw the movie three times in the theaters and loved every minute of it. One recommendation: watch it in the letterbox edition. The scenery deserves no less.

I love romance and I love skating, which probably explains why I love this movie. The music is great and the sexual tension charges the movie throughout. I think it's romance at its best. The soundtrack is finally out and I recommend that as well.

I loved this movie so much when I first watched it and was elated when Lifetime picked it up and started showing it. Patty Duke is an amazing actress and makes you believe in her character so much that when she cries you cry. It is a touching movie that everyone should see. Check Lifetime around the holidays and it is sure to show up. Don't miss it!

I fell in love with this film at first viewing. It broke my heart and quickly entered in to my own private top five movies. Robin Williams is one of the most versatile actors in the industry. He plays drama and comedy with the same intensity and that is so rare. Understandably though, he was nominated against a tough crowd that year (Morgan Freeman-Driving Miss Daisy, Daniel Day-Lewis-My Left Foot (winner), Kenneth Branagh-Henry V, and Tom Cruise-Born on the Fourth of July).

The only thing I have to say is that you need to watch it in black and white. No need for colorization. The movie provides that in and of itself. It is my all-time favorite movie. If I'm ever feeling down, no matter what time of the year, I can put this movie and feel better.
