Survivor Series (1992 TV Special)
Not the greatest
17 July 2001
Survivor Series '92 was a bit of a disappointment. The only match that really stood out was the main event. High Energy vs. the Headshrinkers was lame and so was the " Night Stick on a Pole" match between Nailz and the Big Bossman. This was Yokozuna's first ppv and he squashed Virgil. This also had the first ever casket match. The casket match was too short seeing the Undertaker won by pinfall and then put Kamala in the casket (watch as the Undertaker drives the nails into the casket; he either drives them in crooked or misses them completely). There was much hype for the Perfect Team (Randy Savage & Mr. Perfect) vs. Ric Flair & Razor Ramon. During the match, it looks as though Perfect turns on Savage but you can tell that he really won't. The match was boring. The best match, by far, was Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart. It was a great match. * Note that both men would meet 5 years later during a very controversial match at Survivor Series '97.

Survivor Series (1999 TV Special)
It was okay
15 July 2001
This was an okay ppv with some ups, and some downs. The first match was good. It was fun to see the Acolytes and the Dudleys turn on each other and lose the match. Kurt Angle had his first match in the WWF against Shawn Stasiak. I don't know why he got so much hype before he debuted; his first opponent was Shawn Stasiak for God's sake. The X-Pac, Kane match was a dissapointment. The eight man tag matches were okay, except for the women's (it was too short, in my view and the teams were mis-matched). The IC title match between Jericho and Chyna was great. The WWF title match was good also. Austin getting hit by the car was a little weird, though. I mean, if I saw a car coming at me, I think I'd try to run.

Royal Rumble (1997 TV Special)
The Royal Rumble at it's finest
15 July 2001
The Royal Rumble '97 was great. There were a couple of lame matches (e.g. The six man tag match, Farooq vs. Ahmed Johnson)but other than that, it was pretty enjoyable. The Undetaker vs. Vader was okay and Shawn Michaels vs. Sid was great. The best part, though, was the royal rumble match itself. It was great seeing newer stars like Rocky Maivia and veterans like Jake Roberts and Terry Funk in the same match. This royal rumble match had a lot of Mexican wrestling stars. And of course, Austin wins! Also, you should time how long Jerry Lawler is in the rumble (I think it's like 10 seconds)
