Dracula (1958)
Lee(or actually Dracula)Lives!!!!!
OOOOOOh!Christopher Lee's Dracula is great! He's the best Dracula they could dish up!Hammer's Idea of giving Lee's Dracula reddish eyes adds to the fun!And Cushing's Van Helsing (woooooooooeeeee!)is fantastic! They made an interesting mix of Stoker's original book.New ideas(like making Harker a vampire)are great! And then the ending special effects are cool!
Heavyweights (1995)
Comedy.....what more is there to say?
Fantastic! There's nothing that matches this movie! It's,it's characters,it's........it's.........EVERYTHING!Tony Perkins is wilder than Jim Morrision! It's like a medley. It begins with Gerry, then he goes to Camp Hope, next Perkins turns Camp Hope into "Camp Hell" as the video they show their parents says. And then.....well just watch the movie!
Chikyû kôgeki meirei Gojira tai Gaigan (1972)
Okay,what do we have here?
Well, what DO we have here?A pretty good movie! We have Angilas,Godzilla,Gigan, and King Ghidrah! But there are problems: 1.In the scenes in which the evil monsters fly they look tooooooo stiff. They need to move some! The aliens have brought to us the same lesson that Godzilla vs. The Smog Monster(A.K.A.Godzilla vs. Hedora)gave us.........pollutian bad!(ha,ha)
Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943)
Fairly good Universal horror movie
Bela Lugosi's performance as Frankenstein's Monster was not very good. But Lon Chaneyjr.'s Wolf Man was as good as ever! The gypsy fortune-teller's appearence is a nice touch too.The plot was okay, and the climatic battle between the monsters is great! This is a must see for Universal horror bufs.
The Mummy (1932)
Boris Karlof's fantastic appearance as the one and only(other than Kharis)Mummy!
Makeup artist Jack Pierce had outdone himself in doing the makeup for "Frankenstein",only to do it again in "The Mummy"!And Boris Karlof's performance as a tightly wrapped menace(and as Ardeth-Bey)is fantastic!Plus we get to see Edward Van Sloan too.Nice!
Godzilla 1985 (1985)
I'm going to tell you about one good Godzila movie!
This movie is a classic! It features scenes from the ORINGINAL GODZILlA MOVIE!!!!(not Gojira,Godzilla King of the Monsters)Godzilla's new and improved body is a delight! There is some strong language, though.I'd recommend it for older children.
Bud Abbott and Lou Costello Meet the Invisible Man (1951)
I'm commenting on how great this movie is!(I give it a7.6)
Sheer brilliance in comedy and special-effects!Truly a Universal master-work!The ending (which I can't tell you about)is just great! One interesting part is that it pays tribute to the original invisible man movie. And Abbot and Costello are truly comical!
