But among them, even the wisest of men, have never found a single reason.
Buddha-
Think for a moment.
Try to envision the meanest, most brutal, cruel and merciless crime, that one person can commit upon another Human Being.
OK, keep that thought in your head.
It probably hasn't happened to a terrorist.
It probably hasn't happened to a serial killer.
It probably hasn't happened to a rapist or a thief either.
Want to know one of the worst things wrong with this world?
You know that thing you just thought about?
In some place, at some time, it probably has happened.
To a Child.

Ulvesommer (2003)
Buy this if you have youngin's
This is a very good movie for kids, the acting is very good, the wolf is awesome, and although it's "Lassie'ish" it does not suffer from a common Hollywood kids movie syndrome. I don't know why, but when Hollywood makes a movie about kids and animals they seem obsessed with making your kid cry. This Norwegian film will actually make your kid laugh, and you too, there is one sort of sad part but it's expected, and not even Kim cries in the scene.
For some folks in the USA the subtitles might be a bit of a pain, but the movie is worth it. Don't expect to rent this one at your local video store though, if you want a copy you'll probably have to order one for purchase, but it's worth it.
Kill Crazy (1989)
No spoiler, No need, Movie spoiled by Heavener
No spoiler, No need, Movie spoiled by Heavener when he wrote the thing. I wanted to see it, because a friend at work said it was good, I now suspect that same friend thinks that "Plan 9 From Outer Space" is a classic. What a waste of 2 hours, but I guess I knew I was in trouble when I read the back of the video cassette box, ie: Directed by, Written by, Music composed by, and Lead Actor is....Guess who? Heavener. Egomaniacs seldom make good movies, and this is no exception. I have seen a lot of movies with the Writer/Director the same person that were awesome! But 2 good example's came to me right away, George Lucas knew that some one else should play Luke Skywalker, and Steven Spielberg didn't think HE would play a better ET. It looks like Mr. Heavener tried to make a "Rambo" movie with "feeling", that was a mistake, it's been done already, THAT movie was called...Guess what? Rambo. This movie had no "Heart" for our vietnam vet's, it portray's them as weak sniveling dope-smoking crybabies, and I found that part of it very insulting, however...... There was one point in the movie that Mr Heavener did PERFECTLY! It was at the the end, when he was singing the song he wrote, and as I listened to the word's.. "Is it over now? I hope it's over now!" I looked at the tape counter on my VCR, and I was thinking EXACTLY the same thing. dismenot
Billy Jack (1971)
One of the best
A movie I think almost everyone should see. Billy Jack epitomizes the senselessness of blind hatred and bigotry, and, it was one of the best "B" movies ever made. I myself, went to a type of "freedom school" when I was a kid, and the song, "One Tin Soldier" almost became our school anthem. I love this movie and always will, but a word of warning, the younger generation wont find any "star-wars" special effect's, it was produced on a rather small budget, and anyone can find a filming flaw, in any movie, but if you take it at face value, and just enjoy the "John Wayne cleaning up the town(only moved into the 1970's instead of the 1870's)" and the message it convey's. then I think you will like this film.
