The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (2022)
Took my mom, we both loved it.
Nicolas Cage is back! As if he never left... I Just watched a great Comedy then Action movie that was a very aware spoof to include many pokes at himself and what Hollywood is.
Also who ever did the music score brilliantly over the top!
Arcane: League of Legends (2021)
Great show, to bad the owner of Riot..
The owner of League of Legends is Riot who is 100% owned by the Chinese Evil Mega corp TENCENT! So I will watch since its on Netflix still hope No one backs their games..
Free Guy (2021)
IF they had left it to one moral message...
IF Free Guy had left the message to "maybe killing NPC's or other players not the only way to enjoy a game" Cough : Rockstar : and made the movie just fun sure. I can take a movie with a moral. But this movie could have been a 4 star with one message instead lets add a bunch of leftist nonsense in a movie that doesn't need it. Not sure how much input a Director has but he took the job. Lastly probably due to they lost just a bit of traction with the lack of chemistry guessing COVID and movies.. I could have overlooked that. Still has moments that are great worth a rental not a buy. Time to stand up like Guy and voice our opinions on the messages coming out of Hollywood with our money. Hmmm Maybe Amazon and the rest also need some of their sales to dip that help spread this type of programing.
Berlin Station (2016)
Great 1st season decent follow up seasons, a few things to know ... Spoilers
Spoilers
They cancelled this third season and left us on a cliffhanger. F Epix for that big big strike for pulling that kind of crap on a cable/pay style channel. Season two was good but it also felt very leftist like if the writers were hanging out with the people that write Graves... If there is a strike three I will cancel Epix but in the interim thought it was worth the binge watch and still hoping they resolve the cliff hanger and in a well written way.
PS season one feels different than season 2 and 3 and not a fan of how Ashley Judd's character was written.
Also major Spoiler Daniel dies in a way that is just odd, clumsy and has me wonder if they meant to bring him back in season four (never get to see his face so no closure for the fans) then realized their wouldn't be one. Total Crap.
The Good Cop (2018)
Did not click for me, and disliked a few of the characters.
Good acting but don't like the way the detectives are written.
Turn Up Charlie (2019)
Kids bratty but part of the point, but mom has no clue about beats
So we can get music stars into tv and we cant pick one that has a clue? Production and writing is thin. Love Idris, but had to turn it off after second episode.
Standoff (2016)
Spoiler below, was ok until... and then I turned it off..
So I understand the "kid" cop was inexperienced but so inexperienced he didn't call in the license of the two mismatched cars at a empty as graveyard even after hearing a gunshot? I get not all cops are rocket scientists but most have enough of a self preservation instinct that should have raised some bells. By that point I still was not invested enough to care.
Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: Unato Decisive Battle (2019)
Seems for adults but found it to be whiny childish tripe
Made it to Ep 2 and turned it off could not stand the two main characters.
Sound & Fury (2019)
Like the animation, great choices but some of the music was ok.
So 8 for animation 6 as an average for music as far as my tastes.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013)
Think I am done 4 reasons finally over the show
One Don't like seeing Colson back as the bad guy.
Did not Like Jemma basically hijacked them from the get go to find Fitz.
Never overly liked Yo-yo and not happy Deke is back so easy to move on.
I do like Sky's new hair,.

Captain Marvel (2019)
Childhood memory turned feminist platform... I did like Coulson and the Cat.
So (please tell me if this is out of context) I am curious about something. "I don't need a white dude to tell me what didn't work for him in 'A Wrinkle In Time.' It wasn't made for him," she continued. "I want to know what that film meant to women of color, to biracial women, to teen women of color, to teens that are biracial. And, for the third time, I don't hate white dudes. These are just facts. These are not my feelings."
Earlier this month, Larson vowed that she would stop the "Captain Marvel" media tour from being "overwhelmingly" white or male. So if most of the people that collected and read comics like CPT Marvel are now middle aged white dudes how is this different. She wants it for all people but I can tell you 99% of the people that collected CPT Marvel are white and male, In fact originally CPT Marvel was male... now that is changing, but how is that conversation different. Why should I not be annoyed that a comic from my childhood got changed into a feminist platform after she denounced people for giving a Wrinkle in Time a hard time. In other words it seems no matter what if you happened to be born white or male then you seem to be automatically to have to "life on the defense" and unwanted as a fan of this particular actress....
