Smile (2022)
Best Horror movie EVER!!
I've never seen a horror movie with such a strong, fast-paced, captivating, cohesive plot. The main actress was amazing in her performance throughout, though the support characters were not up to par and it showed.
Nevertheless, I was glued to my seat, anticipating every jumpscare.
Furthermore, the cinematography was top notch, and the editors and director were really successful in setting the scene and creating an unsettling atmosphere.
Overall it was a great experience watching this in the cinema, and I'm sure the experience was further elevated with a full house.
Though not perfect, it serves the purpose of a fantastic horror movie perfect for the halloween season.
RuPaul's Drag Race: Grand Finale (2021)
meh, so predictable
As title suggests, the most predictable season ever. I thought MAYBE the finale could bring some spark, but no, the lip syncs were mediocre at best.
It would've been gaggy if they let Kandy win, bit no, the right winner won. So predictable.
Paired along with how this is the longest drag race season by FAR. Everyone has become tired at this point.
Captain Marvel (2019)
i hate how it wasn't even that bad
As title
the movie wasn't as bad as a lot of reviews said it was. But the actress was very unlikeable. The concept of the film paired along with fantastic cinematography and marvel story telling was amazing.
RuPaul's Drag Race UK: Stoned on the Runway (2021)
GAGGED, but i understand
Spoiler****
Tayce and Awhora ends up in the bottom two and has to lip sync against each other. Tayce wins the lip sync but many argue that it should've been lawrence or ellie in the bottom.
Awhora goes home though, one of the saddest moments as a fan, but i do believe she did the worst in the challenge.
The series is setting up Ellie Diamond as the villain
Generally still a great episode. Still one of the best seasons of drag race EVER
RuPaul's Drag Race UK: Who Wore It Best? (2021)
One of the best episodes of drag race in a long time!
This episode captures the essence of what made drag race's early seasons great
with the perfect mix of emotion, drama, camp and FASHION, this episode brings out the deeper sides of all remaining girls and connects with the audience.
The Office: Livin' the Dream (2013)
Angela's emotional performance at the end of this episode was spectacular
This episode explored the themes that defined the 9-year-long journey of Dunder-Mifflin: friendship, office romances and unpredictability.
The writers really structured this episode well with the ending of Angela confessing her love for Dwight to Oscar. Alongside the amazing performance from Angela Kinsey, this scene perfectly explores the three main themes of "The Office"
