Yakusoku no Neverland (2019)
Good start, terrible ending
The show was extremely good at first. Amazing first season full of suspense and very thrilling. I was so excited for season 2, and the first episode of the second season was amazing! Then it started getting boring and underwhelming. And then it became EXTREMELY rushed. Tensions lasted 2 minutes, everything was solved a little too conveniently, they skipped a lot of elements and some things just didn't make sense. It was very obvious that the creators wanted to get the anime over with ASAP. It seemed like there was no effort made, and I won't even talk about the last episode. I've never seen anything worse. This season is a huge mess, rushed and a big disappointment. It really ruined the show. Mind you, I haven't even read the manga. It's so rushed and the pacing is so bad that even an anime only watcher can see how much they skipped. If you want to watch, I recommend just watching the first season, then reading the manga to see how it ends.
Nae Aidineun Gangnammiin (2018)
very mediocre drama
The story has potential and it conveys many good messages, like accepting yourself for who you are and women should not be reduced to their physical appearance. however, this drama is so slow-paced and honestly... boring. i'm at episode 15 and struggling to finish it. since i'm so close to the end i'm going to force myself to watch the last episode. the acting is extremely mediocre and the drama has gotten even more boring when the main characters started dating. such a boring relationship and such boring characters together. ugh.
Cheolinwanghoo (2020)
My favourite k-drama
I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've ever written a review on here. It's just so good that I want to tell everyone to watch it. I've watched several Korean dramas and so far, this is my favourite one ever. it's the highest rated k-drama on air currently, and that is actually why I watched it. I was curious to see what it was and why it was doing so good.
I definitely agree with the praises this drama is receiving. I've never had a show make me this happy before: it makes me laugh because the humour is perfect, but it also keeps me interested because the story is so complex and intriguing that I'm constantly wondering what's going to happen next.
I love all of the characters. The queen is my favourite. And the actors all have perfect chemistry - it's truly the perfect, dream cast.
I could go on and on about this k-drama. I'm so sad it ended and that I can't watch it for the first time again. It will always have a huge place in my heart, I HIGHLY recommend everyone to watch it.
