Thank you! Oh, gods of horror cinema , for allowing this gem of a movie into existence !!! Considering , that unfortunately , most of the modern films , especially horrors ,are extremely disappointing : It is a very pleasant surprise to watch a masterfully made film. Even though , it wasn't particularly original and somewhat predictable , nevertheless , the strong performances , decent gore on one side and humor on another made it one of the most memorable films in recent times ! Definitely worth watching , having in collection and at some point in future , to rewatch ! Highly recommended to all horror fans out there !

It is a very uneasy for me to watch and review this particular show...As is , it is definitely in a realm of the films and shows , made in Europe , with its usual dark , unforgiving and grim narrative , which I definitely love ) Being from Europe myself ) On the other hand , it is frustratingly repetitive , in a way , that just infuriated me : constant swan song of betrayal ... One time , two times , ok , for the sake of story , maybe works out ... But probably hundred fifty times ???Come on , mafia is known for Omerta , loyalty and heavy duty criminal code ... There can be only so many rats ... Overall , I did watch it all, but it didn't live up to my expectations , so 50/50 , 5 stars is all it gets ...

Definitely one of the better ones !!! It wasn't very easy for me even to start watching this show , because of my overall dislike of the both actresses portraying both main characters ... They are definitely talented but , usually I try to avoid anything with them in it ... To say the true , very happy that this time I persisted in viewing this series ! Very entertaining , story is smart and intriguing enough to hold my attention throughout all seasons . Unusual , that the law drama stayed very interesting , even without regular courtroom scenes. Wouldn't mind even if there would be a couple more seasons )))

Yeap !!!!!! This is one of the very few ( unfortunately) , tv shows , especially in the sci fi domain, to be so absolutely astonishingly good ! I would say , that the brilliance of it , is not in one particular strength , but , more importantly ,in very high standard of the production overall . Action is very well done , characters well developed and liked , story is complicated , but well explained ... Basically , except some small , not very significant points , which I disliked , it is breathtakingly , glued to the screen kind of entertainment ! Definitely , highly recommended for all !!!!!

Fear the woking writers ... Absolutely idiotic show , which had a few really good storylines , which where abruptly ended just to morph later into some unrecognisable mulch . Pacifistic to the point of me , asking , what the point of making zombie apocalypse show , if the main line is to try not to kill anybody ? To spend life looking for precious few leftover resources , just to leave em on the side of the road to " help " others ????? I mean , I could go on for , probably , an hour or so , listing all incredulous and foolish things done in this show ... Pity , as the original is one of the best and this had potential to be close second ...

Primitively entertaining...I'm a very big fan of Jason Statham , but for his movie to be successful , he really needs a brilliant support characters , because he is amazing as a martial arts master , not so much as an actor ... Unfortunately , in this instance , supporting staff is atrociously bad ... I would really like to know who in their right mind cast the female FBI agent ??? Absolutely no acting skills , and the grace of a running hippo , while trying to picture a professional agent at the peak of her form ... Pitiful and not clever .. Better films of Jason Statham shine because of the better actors refining his insane action style ... 5 stars out of respect for him...

Difficult to properly understand and review this show ... for a very simple reason ( many people feel the same , as I see from comments) that there is an enormous difference in basically everything , between first 2 seasons and the rest of the show ... The first season was a revelation , anything else just paled in comparison to it's deep philosophical , psychological narrative , which masterfully intertwined with action , gore and violence ! Terrific , definitely one of a kind ! Unfortunately , the third and forth seasons , couldn't get even close to that achievement ... Nevertheless , I just can't give it less than 10 stars , because it is still magnificent !

There is absolutely nothing special or original in this film , but in a way , that's what made it for me , really enjoyable ) Old fashioned shoot'em up with decent acting , action and all of the rest ... Still , i want to say , that when the time comes , probably it is better to retire on the top of your success , than to continue acting almost ( or probably ) in diapers , where is dignity in it ? A lot of new films came out with bunch of geriatric actors and directors , pretending , that time has no power over them... De Niro , Ford , now Brosnan and Caan ... Unfortunately , humans are not getting better with age , like vine ... Nevertheless , it's ok one time watch .

Plain bad ... The first one was in comparison a gem ) At least there was some cool ideas and decent acting in the original , as much as it was definitely not realistic , it was funny , gory and over the top cool . This one tried very hard to recreate the same style and feel as the previous one , but they not even just didn't succeed , but made it so much worse ... It seems to be written by a not very clever teenager , absolutely without any logic or insight , just a mismatch of some kind of parts of many other better films , made hastily into a patchwork of a pretty dumb movie . Avoid !!! )))))

Reasonably entertaining , hence the 6 stars ... To begin with , I never was a big fan of Indiana Jones movies , but somewhat simply enjoyed watching them for decent action and a very good sense of humor amid great supporting actors ... This film seems to follow in the footsteps of the previous ones , but feels kind of deflated and forced ... Like with a lot of other films now , made by famous directors with famous actors and great stories , this film's biggest mistake , it's a simple truth : humans don't get better with old age , like wine ))) unfortunately , the geriatric elite of Hollywood , just doesn't know when it's a proper time to quit ... Nevertheless , sad but not too bad one time watch .

Did like this film , considering its the first feature film of the director , it is pretty good . The one way , seems to me , this movie would be much better , if there would be less attempts to make a half baked horror out of It and just make a decent psychological drama , the fundament for which was expertly prepared in the beginning of the film . Everything was there : nice acting ( little girl is amazing ))) , story , hardship and tragedy ... unfortunately , later the film started to move into the wrong direction of the cheap jump scares and chaotic visions ... Hopefully , this promising debut will lead to something better ...

Is the point of this film ) for all the frustrated modern people out there writing that this film has no ending , boring etc.))) That is the point : that until you have your imaginary pacifier ( Netflix , phone , games , Friends ) you just can't survive in this world . Remove this things from all of you and you don't even need the invasion or war to take over the country ) you all just curl into the fetus position and die ))) Very well done , thought provoking ( not for brainless average masses ))) , done in the style , also often misunderstood director M. Night Shyamalan... Definitely a very good one time watch !

Now, I'll just be brutally honest here ... There comes a point in every person's life , when old age takes it's natural toll and it affects even geniuses , including once upon a time great directors and actors ... The less self indulgent ones , do make a right choice and retire , others like Scorsese and De NIro , just don't seem to understand that their time has pass and continue to embarrass themselves and us with a string of really poorly made films ... Come on , Irishman ??? Geriatric mafioso opera ??? And now this film ... Considering all the terrible genocidal things done to the Native population by English and French colonisers , this film should have been devastating , strong drama , instead we got almost 4 hours of boring , self indulgent drivel ... Shame ! 5 stars just out of respect for the sad history of native people ...

Bad for what it is , but not very good either .definitely could have been much better . First of all , it feels like a rip off of cult movies made by Uve Ball or Tommy Wirkola and it is fine with me , the problem is , that abovementioned masters of mayhem and gore , make their films in the genre of horror-comedy , that is why they are so fine . This offering is taking itself way too seriously , which makes it unrealistic and outlandish , though entertaining ... Anyhow a decent one time watch , even though , add to action and gore some humor and this film would be another instant cult classic)))

Just wow , I'm absolutely flabbergasted and frustrated , at the herd following some primitive critics and afraid to have a modicum of independent thinking and taste !!! Giving this film 10 , just to compensate for all the inadequate ratings , given to it by plebs ) My real rating would be a very strong 7... It is a very well made film , with a storyline , which can be compared with Dune and Star Wars . Strangely enough , I like it more than Dune and definitely more than forever overrated Star wars drivel . Acting is fine , signature directing from Mr. Snyder , pleasant mutation of 7 samurais with Dune ! Brilliant !!! Highly recommended for those , who still have some brain cells left , to not necessarily agree with majority )

Thing , which is very true , is that Tom Hardy is one of the most brilliant , versatile , talented actors in the world right now ! He is one of the very few , chosen ones , who will continue in the footsteps of the greats : Pacino , Nicholson , De Niro ... On the other hand , the story itself , while fascinating is not translated very well into the narrative of the film ... Pretty weak , somewhat boring storyline , which makes all film to be not on the same level as the Hardy's performance ... Definitely , with original material like that , it should have been way better . Nevertheless , good one time watch !

A low budget this film is very impressive . To be able to interest the audience and keep it interested in production , where there are no action , just character driven dramatic dialog and mysticism and to keep it all in one room is quiet an achievement ! Interesting to know , how many of the veterans of the more modern American wars are feeling the same guilt of killing innocent children of Vietnam , Japan , Iraq , Afghanistan etc. Etc. . etc. ??? Or , the blind belief of their country omnipotence and righteousness prevents them of being able to feel any guilt at all ? Add to that the situation in Gaza and you have you answer , which this film about war long time ago tried to answer ... definitely a decent one time watch !

Somehow , but it seems to me , that almost anything , which comes out of Hollywood this days is just a primitive money grab , which can entertain and amuse only younger generations , who doesn't know better than Disney drivel ... This film feel exactly like that , almost cartoonish in it's silliness parody on real fantasy realms... Humor is strained and tired , acting ( except Mr. Grant ) is by the numbers , action is primitive , effects unfortunately too... Could have and should have been much better , epic story , or , maybe , even a beginning of a new fun franchise , instead just a regular flop...

Unfortunately for European and , probably , world cinema too , but the cheap thrills for brainless modern society :Hollywood style reached and influenced , even the far out little Nordic countries ... Seems , that instead a good story , acting , imagination and direction , this days you just need a lesbian ( Jewish at that))) , story of a classic Exorcist , mix it all together in a boring and lazy way , and voila !: instant churned out " horror " ... And the sad fact is , that considering , that most of the people , will be just afraid to dislike this film ( PC rules ) , here is another good for nothing offering with abnormally decent rating ... 3 stars , just because , I managed to watch it to the end...

Is one of a very few ( unfortunately ) modern horrors , who follows in the footsteps of great filmmakers of the past , rather primitive made by numbers drivel produced this days... The story is relatively simple ( many films around , based on this kind of urban legends) , but what have made it is so special , in my opinion , traces of the great David Lynch in directing ,camera work and especially dark , gothic palette of the colors with occasional bright spot ... Atmosphere is magically depressive , in accord with cinema noir investigative style . Genuinely creepy horror for thinking people )))

Wow !!! At last : the old fashioned slasher instant classic !!! The story is simple and somewhat illogical , but the gruesome satire on the riots of the primitive people for free staff started this film in the very right direction ! And continued right trough to the end with imaginative and glorious gory kills and decent scares !!! All in all , I would love to suggest , for all horror fans out there , to just switch off your desire to logical explanations and enjoy this film for what it is : a very well done modern day slasher film , made just for entertainment and not pretending to be anything else ! Nicely done !

Tried , I really , honestly did ... I watched 1 and half seasons and , after , just didn't have other choice but to quit ... Absolutely , deadly boring show with religious overtones ... Might have been a decent 2 hours film , but to stretch it for so many episodes for , probably , just financial reasons , just made it boring to the point of me , falling asleep after couple of minutes of watching , trying again , just to find myself checking staff on my phone ... Story is fine , would be a very good movie , with a really good actor as a lead , Tom Hardy would make this role an Oscar worthy performance ... As it is , plain boring...

For me , the problem is not as much interpretation of the classic as the , from my point of view , absolutely terrible choice of the actor , who was cast as Sherlock Holmes...He behaves more like a spoiled teenager with multiple temper tantrums and disorders , than an eccentric genius with sky high IQ...Also , Lucy Liu is a terrific actress and maybe she would be an ok Watson to a better Holmes ...As it is . It just doesn' work .

I didn't particularly liked the other modern remake with Benedict Cumberbatch , but it was definitely much better than this wreck of a show... Unfortunately ,but I can't recommend it at all.

Really strange , this one is... usually , I really like and understand European cinematography , with all the bleak outlook on life and overall pessimism , which fits just perfectly with my own perspective of life ) However , in this case , I absolutely disliked the show , almost from the start , but still hoping for possible betterment ) continued watching up to the beginning of the second season , after which I have declared a full defeat and stopped ... As I analyzed this failure a bit later , I came to a very simple conclusion of my utter dislike : there was not even one character , who made me feel anything except boredom ... Very boring show , with not pleasant characters , who failed to engage ...
