Watched this again on 27 Sep 2022 - in this episode trump is accused of dementia = Biden is obviously not aware of his surroundings, from shouting to whispering and claiming he likes 13-year-old girls along with a slew of other bizarre rants this will never be mentioned in a "Family Guy" episode - daughter of running a company = Biden's son's laptop was covered up by the FBI (fact) - wiping ass on constitution = wiping ass on the constitution - financial misconduct = "the big guy" - collusion with Russia (Hillary) proved to be a lie = Hunters collusion with China & Ukraine covered up by FBI - now take a long hard look at what you have today and you can see the very mean ugly truth of the media & Hollywoke.

White guilt ahoy!
24 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Watched this episode when it was first aired and thought it was okay/average then again a year later and wondered how it was framed, poor innocent black guy tortured by an evil white guy.
How would this have played out if the roles were reversed?
Making the victim black & the bad guy white plays to some very white guilt ideals doesn't it?
What if the owner of the museum were black or a woman?
I found this episode disturbing but not for the superficial reasons.

Some reviews "big this up" and others don't, I'm in the don't camp. Watched E 1&2 then jumped to E 12 to see the ending (nothing special).
Seems Korean students ages range from mid-twenties to late thirties. The one upside is not watching the woke inclusive snooze-fest that would be forced upon oneself if filmed in a western country.

Moby Dick 2.0
13 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Most of the other reviews have covered the movie quite well but having watched it again (first watched it in 1971 big screen) can't help wondering if "Moby Dick" was an influence? The sub as the metaphorical whale and Murphy as the Ahab (going to his watery grave). By the by, it's a fun romp of cat & mouse with some nice 70's sound score (nothing wrong with that).

Warning: Spoilers
Decided to give this a try, after seeing a glowing (8), if you change it to a (2) then it would be more truthful. In fact, like the "main protagonist" after a gruelling eight episodes I decided to "self-harm" and punch myself in the balls!
How to run out of gas.

Though not directly aimed at GOT, I have over the years perhaps noticed that shows that are in their final run/season tend to unravel - so I placed myself in this position - if I/you know you are going to lose your job soon(ish) you don't always commit 100% to what you do, as your focus/motivation turns to other things/projects - so it's possible that the original drive behind GOT has been replaced with a lethargic "going through the motions" and pick-up my check attitude. As stated this isn't totally aimed at GOT just supplying my Little Finger observation.
