Ghosts: Halloween 3: The Guest Who Wouldn't Leave (2024)
Terrible addition
Because of the strike I figured the writing would be weak but this episode was particularly cringy and awful. I'm gonna go back to the British one. This season is trash.
Thorfinn is getting so shouty and annoying. His loins are more important than noticing a dead person? Atleast the step brothers costumes got put away.
Now who got sucked off after the flower twist... what terrible writing. Especially with crash and cholera teen guy disappearing. No consequences or correct personalities for timelines...
Pete pouting and just weak character development after carol shows up. But why out of all things does the writers think Carol will be a good addition to the ghost world!? Maybe a big redeeming arc will happen between her and Pete and Sam and jay who are rude as hell to her from the moment she can to wood stone for the party, will realize two sides to every story.
Speaking of Sam... she is getting more unlikeable. Especially how she continually puts the ghosts first and makes jay do weird things, and constantly put his needs and dreams second. He willingly does it... with no fight.
She deserves to look like an idiot and terrible acting all around this episode.
Suits (2011)
Pretty good watch except...
Re watching this after a hiatus. My perspective changed a little, but wow the way this firm digs it's own grave, idk, it's a tv show
Good depiction of defense lawyers... BUT I absolutely cannot stand Mike one of the main characters. Such an insufferable hypocrite, and the whole premise of the show hinges on him.
But how the heck is he so likeable that actual lawyers break the law repeatedly to keep his secret!? Weird but whatever... they keep giving him chances even when he betrays them.
Thank goodness it's entertaining enough to not take seriously, and litt is ridiculous and somewhat likeable.
The real star of the show is Donna...
Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023)
Yea no way... goodbye dc/WB
Saw enough of hokey super hero movies in the 90's... they blame marketing for this flop. No Warner brothers casted badly, horrible script writing. The main actor can't even commit to working out and wears a muscle suit...
That aside what a LAME version of Shazam. Heck I wish a grittier version of his character would have been made. Not crazy dark but come on not a horrible reimagining of Big...
Between DC and Warner brothers the choices were odd, and of course random. Like the difference between aquaman movie and how it is in bvs... but Shazam and black Adam choices are ridiculous.
The way the marvel family is and the obvious plot holes in this movie. It's just redundant.
It feels like watching Big in a muscle suit. Cramed full of corny jokes and Zach Levi, who looks so out of place as a superhero. Heck the ticks more believable as a superhero.
I can't stand the same old thing, marvel is wearing thin, and Warner brothers can't sue these characters justice. I'm out, not wasting my time especially with the new direction they are taking.
Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty (2022)
Not accurate at all
Though entertaining, very inaccurate portrayal of certain people for shock value. Biggest example is jerry west. Just wow.
Just for entertainment, but seriously how can you portray these guys so poorly and when the actual guys are watching this show and are like we want nothing to do with this... kinda kills the show for me.
The Conners (2018)
Clunky and awkward
I've been watching the conners, it seems half hearted and going nowhere. They started off strong and now the characters are haphazard, storylines awkward. Once you get into an episode it's over.
Beckys character is annoying and ridiculous, Harris is lame, Jackie gets a bit eccentric. i am glad Dan is there. His character is true to itself still.
