Telemarketers (2023)
did an amazing job raising awareness
Now, I know that they didn't succeed after doing all those investigations but what Sam and Patrick really did really opened our eyes about the world of telemarketing scams and frauds. These people are making themselves millionaires by shaking down small business owners and senior citizens who think their activities are legitimate. What's even annoying is that, they always get away committing these crimes. All the government does is give them little slap in their wrist and let's them go and do it all again. Kudos for Sam, Pat, and Adam for exposing these fraudsters. I hope their work could at least decrease this scam.
The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst (2015)
The case was solved by A "Filmmaker"
Wow!!! I have never seen a documentary meticulously prepared as this one. Credit Andrew Jarecki for his persistence about Robert Durst Case. He solved what the detectives, DA or any other person of law couldn't. Also, The film had a great score fitting to its genre. It is incredible how Robert Durst was able to stay deceptive all this years. The man Is maniac. I thought he was innocent when I started watching the few first episodes.
PS. Criminals learn how to spell "BEVERLY"
The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf (2021)
Better than the video games?
So I have never actually read the books by Andrezj Sobowski. But there's something about the witcher movie or series that makes it standout in the epic fantasy genre. Its social commentary, surreal fighting scenes, and very good voice acting are top notch. The story revolves around Geralt of Rivia's mentor Vesemir who will be introduced later on season 2 of the Netflix series.
The Tomorrow War (2021)
One of those unique scifi movies
This movie has everything. Good storytelling, good film score, talented cast, strong acting. The only thing this movie doesn't have is a plothole. And that is a good thing.
Dispatches from Elsewhere (2020)
Boring as hell
The first episode was captivating, but soon I realized that its just another teenage drama saga. Not worth watching at all.
Freaky (2020)
1
One word: cliche.
Just like any other blumhouse films these days.
