His favorite movie, 1954 Seven Samurai, inspired this film. A village being victimized by bandits, the hero finds 7 ronin, samurai who have lost their master, to help save the village. This is a hodgepodge of characters that even through these circumstances don't seem to go together. He makes this first movie about how they come together. At times it is just very slow. This stop and go editing just had me bored. I don't know how closely the editor and director work together, but it just was labored at times, no momentum. I liked the main character Kara, but I never really rooted for her or the village. The village was more of a stopping point for her, not a home that she would want to fight for. The character never seemed happy to be there or to make it a home, so why would she fight for it. Visually this is a great sci fi movie, with a retread story that doesn't make me care about the underdog.

Stories draggggggg on and on

I had high hopes, and the first season helped me maintain that. It was slow at times, but origin stories take time, especially when talking about a diverse group like the Teen Titans. At first I didn't like that they dropped the "Teen", but these characters are way passed puberty so I'm was ok with it. The fact that Batman is no longer active and old and mentally broken does bother me. I know we all have breaking points, but The Bat would hold it together no matter what.
The main problem I have with this show is they drag every season out until you just want it to end. I found myself fast forwarding episodes, it can be just very boring with a lot of unnecessary dialogue. It wouldn't hurt my feelings to see this one not have another season.

Unwatchable! Seems like a drug induced idea that never had any real writing involved. Love all the actors, waste of talent and everyone's time. Sad.
Now the rest of the 600 word review which will meander and explain nothing because there is nothing more to say about this movie except zero stars isn't even an option, really! How about 1/2 stars, I wish you could half star instead of whole stars because there are movies I rate the same but they are better than other 7 star movies but not good enough to get 8 stars and there are 6 star movies that are better than other 6 stars, so I guess half stars is what I want.

An Adult spy thriller

You don't need to be a "Star Wars fan" to like this, or even a fan of sci-fi, it's good. This has tension, high stakes and fighting for little guy. It is a origin story, for which I am always a fan of, of Cassian Andor from the feature film Rogue One. This chronicles his rise from a petty thief with a knack for stealing from the Empire, to becoming a key player in the Rebellion. As a sucker for origin stories, I was very intrigued to see this character after seeing his death in Rogue One. His portrayal was very complicated, with following orders, sacrificing a source to escape capture, then volunteering for what they all saw as a suicide mission. Now we can see what shaped him to become the hero that helped destroy the Death Star.

Gerrymandering has been used by both Liberal and Conservatives. But with the systematic taking of local and district elections across the country, conservatives have taken control of how districts are drawn to purposefully minimize Liberal voters. They have been funded by Super Pacs (I.e. Koch brothers) and have misused and abused the power of redistricting.Districts should be drawn and based on population and be as simple and as small as they can be. All registered voters should not be identified by any party when a district is drawn. They should not be drawn by any Political party.
