11M: El Principio del Fin (2022)
Attack on Spain from within!
My country, my home, my life, my Spain, suffered a terrible attack on 11M 2004 and almost 18 years later, we still do not know the truth. This documentary simply exposes the facts (and that is something that no one had done before), with an unparalleled research work, without making any kind of apology and the result is as cruel as it is real. Spain has not been the same since that damned day and will not be the same as long as the real culprits are not judged by God, Our Lord.
In memoriam of all the victims R. I. P. And of the injured may they know that they can count on us.
Pyramiden (2018)
Danger! You don't watching this 'thing'
I'm going to be very specific ... It's the worst short ever and the longest minutes of my life.
0/10.
Bumperkleef (2019)
About humans and mole rats
- We have become a case of manual: the only animal species, together with the mole rat, that exterminates its own individuals.- Franz-Olivier Giesbert, french writer.
Democritus already made a review of this film -All is lost when the bad ones serve as an example and the good ones as a mockery-
From the magnificent Duel to the most recent Savage, we have always had that suspicion. Who is that who has advanced me in full continuous line? Or simply who is driving the car in front? Normally people are not usually psychopaths, but these films remind us that even if it is a 00000.1% probability, there is a psychopath driving a car.
The worst thing about the movie is marriage, which has moments that you almost convince yourself that they deserve it, but those daughters bring us back to reality.
The educated psychopath has her point, not is a being without a face or without morality (even if this morality is wrong).
The Stylist (2020)
Classy stylist
Jill Gevargizian's feature film premiere, adapting her own short film, is an intimate look at the sick psyche of a woman armed with his hairdressing scissors -an excellent Najarra Townsend-.
I've always had a fascination with how easily the world tends to open up to complete strangers simply because they do ordinary jobs in front of the public. The secrets that a hairdresser, or a waiter, or the taxi driver will know ... in this film we have an uncomfortable truth, because perhaps that stylist, waiter or taxi driver are nothing more than strange creatures that live through others (It is an exaggeration of a wandering mind, do not take it as a statement if they are from some guild of the style)
So we have a kind of Apache of the 21st century with many traumas, to which the script has not wanted to respond or at least with absolute certainties and that is good. His sweet and shy manner and pastel dresses are the counterpoint to his true SELF (the overrated Freud would drool over a case like this) who yearns to live other lives and does not hesitate to kill.
As a signature, let's say the stylist wants to be the bride at the wedding, the child at the christening, and the dead at the funeral.
And look at the short, it's worth it.
Fantasy Island (2020)
Blumhouse deflates.
Blumhouse begins to be more an obstacle for the genre, than that "wonder" that was sold to us at the beginning (and I bought).
But I will focus on Fantasy Island. It fails from beginning to end. Failure in the plot, being a nonsense, it seems that they have shot between 10 filmmakers without talking to each other. But I try to forget the plot and focus on other aspects. If you want to focus on the protagonists, you lose time, since you cannot feel anything, be it empathy or dislike for them, because there are so many stories that connect in such a coarse way that it almost seems like a joke in bad taste. Ok, I focus on the island ... Where is the juice that the damn island could give? Do not shake the tree, I already tell you, THERE IS NO FRUIT SOME.
It is not worth talking about special effects or photography because the director does not care. It's like an attraction so soporific and ridiculous that you only look at the time because it makes eternal.
