Sound of Freedom (2023)
Sad but unfortunately true
Child trafficking is on increasing trend in almost all parts of the world. Hearing about such disturbing instances makes to wonder that how are human beings capable of such horrific acts. The issue of child pornographic content needed addressing for a while now.
Movie is about a Homeland Security agent who has had enough with the catching the pedophiles and sets out to free the children kidnapped and being used by sex traffickers. Movie representation is good and you feel connected to the characters and feel the pain and suffering of the people involved. Overall a good movie. It is nice to see movies representing real life issues in such a good way.
Blue Beetle (2023)
Waste of time
This is definitely one of the worse DC movie ever, Character development, dialogues, story, whatever you look for in a good movie, it's definitely missing in this one. Totally predictable. May be fine for kids who would be happy to see some colours here and there otherwise this movie has nothing to offer for anyone who is looking to spend some good time. There is no sense in this movie plot. Unnecessary drama, and needlessly prolonged scenes. DC could use some good writers and directors who can present the movie in somewhat better way. I never thought that I would be disappointed this much by any movie.
Rectify (2013)
One of the most amazing and emotional shows ever
This shows centers around Daniel Holden who was falsely accused of raping and murdering his girlfriend Hanna Dean. As a result he spent almost twenty year on death row and most of that period in solitary confinement. His sister Amantha Holden fights for him and eventually due to recent evidence he gets out of prison and that's how this season starts.
Personally, I haven't seen a series which takes you through such a hard journey from losing everything until you have not a little bit of hope left. It has loss, expectations, fear, courage, family, hope, loneliness and everything you go through you everyday life. I got emotional at lot of scenes while watching the show and I could relate to the sadness and loneliness in the characters because it was presented in such a perfect way. I loved it because I could connect with it and I would recommend it for anyone who wants to be inspired I guess.
Scrubs (2001)
Worth watching
I liked the show overall. The story revolves around a group of doctors serving in Sacred Heart Hospital. In all the seasons, it kept the balance between the comedy and seriousness of the issues dealt by the doctors.
One things I didn't like was extending the season without any specific story and not giving it proper ending. At the end of season 8, it seemed like the kind of ending that could work perfectly for this series but I don't understand why authors felt the need to go for ninth season and didn't even bother to end it appropriately.
Overall it was a good season and I liked watching it.
