A valuable jewel
20 September 2019
Absolutely phantastic, it is hard to believe such a great film was possible in the eighties. Not only for the first time ever a CGI was used in films, all the movie -from the very first second to the last one- is a masterpiece, on any angle you choose. Plot, costumes, backgrounds, technical effects, of course music (you wouldn´t expect less for such a star as David Bowie) and the magic of Jim Henson´s Muppets, make this movie a valuable jewel, with well deserved fame.

Well done
16 September 2018
A well done biopic about Miriam Alejandra Bianchi, a.k.a. Gilda, a recognized Argentine singer and composer of "cumbia", a music genre followed by the argentine masses on the ´90s. Besides, some details about their early life and motivations, and also the difficulties she had to surpass as her fame grows- tough businessmens, even armed menaces. Well, let´s be discreet... it´s a good story and you can even see and hear the musicians that were on Gilda´s band. You wouldn´t be dissapointed.

A beautiful, powerful story
10 October 2017
This film is an excellent description of the Andean Condor Conservancy Project implemented by Buenos Aires Zoo and Fundación Bioandina Argentina. The objectives of the project are to reintroduce this species on the Atlantic Patagonian coast, in areas where it became extinct. While in this task, the scientists discovered -and take advantage of- the ancestral knowledge of the native people who have honored this bird for thousands of years, considering it a sacred link between men and God. By applying that native knowledge, surprisingly, the Project success surpasses any other similar project in the world. As one of the professional says "it's simple: the Nature speaks... is up to you being able to listen". Heaven Again is a masterpiece of documentary movies, a unique example of the new heights people, science and religion can achieve working together.

A good plot who falls short
8 October 2017
A beautiful story about friendship, love and soccer passion. Three items Argentinans know for so long. Also, some comedy steps make the spectators laugh, specially if you know the society where the action is in. What could be wrong? Well, the fact that carrying those things to the screen isn't so easy. The three friends that make desperate efforts to recover the bad investment the dead one made, fall in questionable maneuvers which go from the credible to the incredible. The funny steps become overacted, losing freshness, spontaneity. Even so, it's true all the actors (Rago, Peretti, Dopazo, Rabinovich, even Cacho Buenaventura as an emotional father) make an incredible good job, saving the film and making it a not-so-bad one.

Nice work
15 September 2017
A nice film, specially if you take into account the Argentinean predecessors on "action movies" were simply ridiculous and non- credible. Good FXs, great scenes, the right music, action that never stops and sparks of comedy, much like Lethal Weapon or others buddy movies. The story quite "classical" for the genre. The most important achievement: credibility... you certainly would feel you can find the characters at the end of the block. Well done "Chueco".

A funny history plenty of local slang
9 September 2017
The real value of the film are details. All them are there for a reason, they are the framework for the entire movie since they describe the Argentina reality in the mentioned years 1976, 1989, 2003. There are so many (e.g. people that would never come back, as seen with the exiles/ a female model suspected of being involved with military chiefs/ inflation that makes the prices soar while the protagonists are talking/ the incredible well played character of "King of the Night" by Claudio Rissi/ Simon Movicom and the first cellular phones that were extremely bulky etc), that the spectator should be extremely attentive to not lose anyone. A well informed person will enjoy them as they appear. It may be needed a second or third view to discover them all.

An absolutely must-watch
6 December 2016
An excellent film, specially if you visited Spain and learned about some of the common life there. Simple and beautiful half- dozen stories (some of them a bit hard to see) covering all human behaviors from racism to drug dealing, from love to hate, from humanism to materialism, you name it. What surprised me the most, is that everything seems to be absolutely unconnected at the beginning, however the plot is a really good one and when the end titles appear, you wouldn't believe you thought the connections were not uncovered before. If you like simple life, small neighborhoods, common people and those stories you may find at the end of the block, but with an incredible twist at last, you must watch this film. You'll love it.

Campanella did it again
27 July 2013
It was an amazing experience I didn't surpass in years. This great film is not perfect but it is brilliantly made, incredibly animated and brings a lot of fun in every single minute. The story is a simple one, we watched in lot of movies before. But it touches you in the heart, as it does every time you see common, weak people fight to the powerful ones, just armed with passion, dedication and deliver; the kind of sensations you feel in Rocky I, Real Steel, The Boxer or much other films. Besides, it is equipped with small, funny references here and there, as the Major flying out in a helicopter, like in the 2001 Argentinean crisis. If you liked Cars, Toy Story, Monsters Inc, etc you cannot lose this masterpiece.
