The show is original and (not hilarious) but a fun watch. But sadly it wasn't interesting enough to make me want to watch the next season. I have seen Season 1 and I am not watching season 2 anytime soon . It doesn't really have a profound/meaningful plot, so it doesn't do a good job grabbing your attention or make you curious about what happens next to the protagonist or anyone at all.

Brilliant writing

This show was good. It wasn't laugh out your stomach funny , but hey that's what dark humor is . I could say it's one of a kind. Just watch it.

Everything was great until.......Season 3

This show made me laugh and think and introspect about moral philosophy more than anything. Even the silliest of scenes and dialogues raised some very philosophical questions. It wasn't 'laughing your stomach out' funny but yeah it was interesting and overall a fun watch. One could easily write a essay on the moral philosophy in the first two seasons. It made sense and it was fun to watch.

But from from season 3 onwards it became extremely dull and unintelligent , and it just completely stopped being funny. Season 3 was this endless chaos where I am not sure what the writers are trying to portray/ ask/ or even try to convey anymore.

The thing that made the show special for me was its ability to convey something meaningful but with a bit of humor. But it seems that the writers are just dragging along the story line now just for the sake of extending this show to a certain number of seasons.

I watch the English dubbed version and I loved it. I have only watched the first season till now but I definitely look forward to watching more seasons and see how the rebels blow up the offshore. I know it's a Brazilian show but the production quality is top notch . I didn't feel like I was watching anything less than a Netflix quality for one second. Overall if you are a fan of dystopian stories, and you loved the hunger games or handmade tale , you might want to give this show a chance.

A Boring and bland plot with absolutely zero comedy

Okay, so I started this series with great expectations, but unfortunately the plot couldn't keep up my interest for long. The actors, cinematography, everything is great, but none of them can make up for a seriously deficient script or plot. Also, there was hardly anything comic about this series. I felt like listening to an uninteresting storyline without feeling any emotions for any of the characters.

This was my first anime series. All I have to say is that they have recently announced the second season and am already eagerly waiting for it . The plot and animation style is wonderful. The storytellers really explore the depth of each character and their emotions. Without much spoilers, I love how the mother and sister's characters have not been portrayed as either black or white. The plot line is full of horror and suspense.
