Stranger Things: Chapter Nine: The Piggyback (2022)
Overrated, overhyped
EVERY season has EXACTLY the same ending; Eleven saves the world, only side characters that are introduced in the respective season die, NONE of the main characters die (Jesus they even brought Max back to life...), same cringe love stories, and, the icing on the cake, absolutely ridiculous Russian characters... Four times we've witnessed the same thing and still, this episode HAS A 9.4 RATING. Hope in season 5, the shows philosophy will change, but I guess, if people continue buying this stuff, there is no need for that to happen..
P. S. Who considers it a good idea for an episode to last TWO HOURS?? Don't they get that it is almost impossible to watch it on one go?? Just split it to 2 episodes... And for those who'll say just watch it with breaks; Yeah that's what I did of course, but the point is to watch each episode on one go, otherwise as I said, just split it in two.
The Haunting of Hill House: Silence Lay Steadily (2018)
Happy ending?
The bulk of this episode's reviews are referring to a "happy" ending, an ending which the spirits of the Crain family are living for the eternity and the family's living members get to continue their lives happily. It is clear that these people totally ignored or forgot the fact that the house tricked Hugh to COMMIT SUICIDE in order not to cease its actions. Let's also not forget the Dudleys, who not only stopped Hugh from burning the house down but also will end up dying in there so they stay in touch with their daughter, thus feeding it. In the end we conclude that the house manages to avoid being burned and simultaneously to guarantee its "food" by "tricking" Hugh (and the Crain's in general) and the Dudleys. So yes it turns out that "the house always wins".
13 Reasons Why: Let the Dead Bury the Dead (2019)
Good plot twist bad outcome
Overall the show is neither great nor bad. That's mainly the reason why we sat and watched it in 48 hours of course. Nevertheless the ending seems to me disappointing. Alex didn't have a particular motive to kill Bryce and neither had Jess. The unfortunate destiny of Monty makes me surprisingly to feel sorry for him and simultaneously hate a bit Clay, Alex and the others. In my eyes whoever killed Bryce should have got punished. I mean in the end what kind of message does this show try to promote? That you can get away with the murder of someone that has decided to change and improve? Poor
